≪☼≫ THOUGH HE WASN’T really one for the bar scene himself, he could admit he was a curious to get a look at everything around the Island still. And the fact that this area was somewhat famous for being able to make anything… well, it was a curiosity.
But, before wasting time at a scene that generally didn’t suit him, perhaps he should ask someone who looked like they knew whether or not it was worth it? Perhaps he could find a more common patron of the bar? For a moment, he cast his eyes about – scanning the area for someone who might be available to speak to him. There were many groups of people. People it didn’t feel right approaching, because they were here with a party or group. There were a few sad looking single ladies who Guren didn’t want to get their hopes up – especially around this time of the year… Perhaps the somewhat professional looking man then?
“Excuse me?” Guren leads off, trying to offer a somewhat relaxed smile, even if this area made him somewhat uncomfortable… “Do you have a moment? I was… hoping to ask some questions? I only just arrived at this island a day or so ago, so…”
Mondo frequented these places as a haven not only to drink, but to flirt. In bars, people generally knew to leave you be unless they were interested in you. If you were alone, ideally only two people would engage you; the bartender and someone interested in you.
No one really caught his eye here, but the place itself was fairly comfortable.
There were always other bars. This was a new place after all, and of course, a future date picks the place first if she’d like to.
Oh, that’s a good looking man...He didn’t expect him, but he hasn’t been annoying yet, and it’s not like he’s blocking his way from flirting with anyone.
Unfortunately, Mondo’s facial expression barely ever changes and the somewhat relaxed smile is only replied to with a very even, apathetic face. His tone of voice is another story, as it comes as even, but not as cold.
“Sure. Not really much to do here aside from chat.”
