hey hi hello there, im luna, and welcome to my rise sideblog!! ive been absolutely in love with these turtles for ages now (i was there when the pilot dropped, actually!) and since its been a good year and a half that ive been Continually nutty about these little guys, i figured making a sideblog for once might be a good idea!
if the theme wasnt already indication enough, the little guy im truly the most insane about is one leonardo rottmnt hamato, my little guy my baby. my god my little guy . basically squidward voice we serve leo here sir LMAO if youve come looking for that silly little blue bundle of insecurities, youve come to the right place! i think about him muchly :]

Tag Glossary
violet stripes: this is my talk tag! if im posting a post thats just me jabbering about stuff and things, no matter what that is, this is what it'll be tagged with! purple is my favorite color (mostly; blue is starting to beat it out lmao) and the one thats been kind of My color my whole life, so i took leos stripes and made them violet like me :]
cerulean moonlight: my leo posts tag! if theres a post and its just leo being silly, whether its a reblog or not, this will be what its tagged with. he gave me his stripes to color violet, i gave him my moonlight to color cerulean; a fair trade if i do say so myself :]]
lavender dusk: this one is my donnie posts tag; all of the hamatos/associated characters will have a color and a time of day sort of assigned to them, or sunlight or starlight, things like that. they all shimmer a little differently is all, you see. for everyone else, ill just be specifying who theyre for and telling you why i chose what i did! lavender is...i honestly couldnt even tell you why lavender fits donnie to me Lmao its just one of those things ive assigned to him. dusk is also just so purple to me but its also a fitting inbetween. i might have gone dusk for leo if i wasnt adamant about giving him my moonlight in return but its also pretty donnie
crimson dawn: raph tag!! crimson and cerulean, what a beautiful little dance. dawn and dusk being paired together sort of pairs with the next tag, too, theres not enough raph and donnie content in the world. dawn is also very raph, though; i cant quite articulate it, but just. the sun rises and the world knows tomorrow is coming. the world turtle spins his brothers on his axis and they know tomorrow is coming. you know?
mandarin sunlight: this is, of course, our mikey tag!! sunlight for him is just too perfect, but it also parallels leos moonlight, which fits very well for the portal duo! plus mikey has always been the sun and leo a star to me; intrinsically linked in that sense, too. and portals have always been a way to get away to me, for leo, teleporting a way to get home, and mikey dragging him back by the foot with a portal, and...like i said they just parallel each other well lmao
sapphire morning: my cj tag, which may or may not make you go wtf are you talking about lmao. cj in my head is always a darker shade of blue than leo, maybe even a little indigo from all the blazing red in his heart, and sapphires are so sturdy...morning is just so him, too. hes a morning person to me, yeah, but hes also...so much of him parallels raph, too. the northern star. he guided the way home, ensured another lazy morning. another day of the sun rising and beaming.

My headcanon? Leo’s portals feel like static. When he locks in and puts his all into his ninpō, his portals can create bursts of electricity that can be used to paralyze whoever travels through them, and he looooves to send his rivals (and occasionally Donnie) in for a shock. :>

This is KIND OF a sequel to my last comic (even though I drew this before the last one) bc Leo's insomnia finally gets attention. However, Donnie is wildly uncomfortable at having to be the one who has to confront his bro about it, but he does it anyway bc he ✨cares✨
