a meditation before bed (perhaps a mugwort tea as well) that will bring the divination answers that you seek. or idk, have a bit of a loopy dream.
๐คyou will need:
โฆ lavender/chamomile essential oil or incense - ideally an oil you can use in an diffuser or one you can wear. either way, you should be able to smell it for most of this process.
if you plan on falling asleep directly after pls opt for a fire safe option lol
โฆ a quiet moment before bed
๐ฆhow to:
โพ sit at or on the foot of your bed, comfortably. anoint yourself with the oil, or get that diffuser going.
โพ meditate for a moment, take a few breaths to clear your head.
โพ take a deep, sighing breath, then repeat;
" i seek the truth which my dreams sow,
knowing that as above is so below.
remember mugwort amidst the night,
all is calm, all is good, all is quiet. "
โพ continue to meditate for as long as you feel necessary to reach a calm, sleepy state, repeating the affirmation however so often you choose.
โพ you are now ready to sip on some mugwort tea :) or just drift off to lalaland whichever you choose. try to remember the affirmation as you dream, connecting the waking world to your dream. no pressure either way, after all, you are resting.
๐ want a boost?
โน meditate with amethyst for a deeper divination dive, or selenite if you want clarification on something. you could even sleep with it under your pillow.
โน i like to add another touchstone just to ground me before bed, most times it will be my cat just sleeping beside me (or a stuffed toy/pillow).
๐ฎi like to drink mugwort because i find it helps with divination; but most sleepy time teas could be used instead. if anyone lives in aus, T2 makes a really great blend called 'nighty night' - but DNI if you don't like peppermint. i usually hate minty teas but this one isn't so bad. i <3 sleep guys itโs so good !!
