Since the people have asked, here's a snippet of chapter 4 of Aerion's POV that covers their time at Summerhall
NOTE; this is a raw, first draft I'll definitely rewrite, but it should give you an idea of what the intention here is:
There were many things Aerion Targaryen had wanted to do to his sister.
Hold her close, chest to chest. Kiss her cheeks, and lick her skin, till every bit of her pretty, marbled face was glistening pink with his lovebites. He wanted to trace every inch of her naked flesh, memorize every hill, peak and valley.
He wanted to split open her belly, and crawl inside, drink her blood and play with her squishy innards.
She was his; his skin, his heart, his breath. An intrinsic piece he needed to feel whole, something essential to his continued existence.
He'd wondered if other man had felt similarly about the objects of their affections. He'd scoured love poems once, diligently flicking through several tomes of what their Maester had labeled as ‘the finest' if for no other reason than to sate his curiosity.
He always found them lacking. The poets would drone on about their beloved's beauty, speak about the ache of longing, love that eclipsed the brightness of the sun. But all their drivel had felt tragically insufficient.
Those men had merely wanted to admire their beloved from afar. Mayhaps have their affections reciprocated in turn.
Aerion wanted to eat Aerea.
He wanted their flesh to fuse, their ribs to join, their hearts to meld into one. He wanted to drink her spit, lick her tears, devour her breath. He hungered for the salt of her skin, the copper tang of her blood, the honey between her legs, the one taste he liked the most.

It had been… strange at first. Hot, slick and warm. Her insides were pretty, he supposed. Pink, and inviting, with a small patch of silvery hair covering her mound. It was soft too; much softer than his. He found he liked how it felt on his fingers. He found he liked how it felt on his tongue.
He'd assumed she’d taste of something; peaches, strawberries, dessert cream. Yeast, musk, rancid fish men gagged at in their bawdiest jests.
There was nothing; just a clean, mild taste, as salty as her damp skin. That somehow made it more enticing.
Especially when he felt her slick wet his lips, sensed her muscles relax. She had a lovely pearl too. Nestled right above that tight little entrance, it was as ruddy as a rosebud. He'd suckled on it, swished his tongue into it, exactly as the whores had shown him.
And suddenly, his lips were drenched, and his head had vanished in between a pair of slender thighs. This time, Aerea had not even bothered to stifle her cries. He doubted she could have. The sound had torn from her throat violently, her legs closing around his neck. Her slick spilled into his mouth, the salt turning to honeyed sweetness.
Afterwards, he'd made it seem like he'd only done it because he'd wanted her to return the favor. He had. But he’d also been curious about the taste. How it would feel to kneel between her legs and give her power. It didn’t feel like giving her power. She was most vulnerable when she was spread bare before him, her little pearl nestled snugly into his mouth.
He was able to coax earnestness out of her during those moments, have her go putty. She liked sharing well enough, and would yield to their couplings completely whenever he led with it. That felt like control; certainty.
One he liked far more than just base dominance.
Especially when she’d tease him after, roll her eyes when he went to give her a kiss. How her nails would rake across his back, how her insides tasted. The best taste in the world, made by the one place he wanted to be in the most.
Aerion lighting Aerea up through his letters, spreading his ass wafer THIN across the GLOBE meanwhile my poor baby girl was calling out for him while she was in active labor oh I’m SICK (question, would his evil ass have actually felt anything if he knew she did that, even though he’s extra crazy and mad rn?)

Also, assuming he wasn't calling out for her during certain moments 👀
He's pissed and very unstable rn, but the reason for his behavior is his emotional vulnerability. Which is still not an excuse and he deserves to have his ass beat 😂
Yes, he'd be delighted. In a sick way, it would serve as proof that she still wants and needs him which is what he wants deep down.
Will Aereas bond with her son improve? Lowkey feel bad for her like every one is bonding with Mae except for her like fr she needs like this one thing 😭
It will stay complicated, especially as her mental health starts severely deteriorating 😢
Just finished the new chapters and holy FUCK am I getting Deja vu in the sense that Aerea was VERY Aerion coded when she was doing the wall tango with Valarr? In a sense it almost felt like she took the initiative of being the more aggressive dominate of the two like Aerion is with her and Valarr almost mirrored taking her place?

I've been waiting for a reader to point this out. But yes, this is the direction I'm going. Yes, it will end HORRIBLY for her and everyone involved.
Since all of Maekars children are dreamers and Daeron is getting the worst of it, which of the siblings would be second to him and so on in the strongest and most frequent dreams department? Even though she suppresses them would it be Aerea or would it be Aerion?
Aerion, definitely. He gets the worst of it, and it's why his mental health is so wrecked. After him Aerea and believe it or not, Egg, but that will be a future problem for him 👀
What would have happened if aerea went with aerion overseas?
This is lowkey an AU I've wanted to do, but I'm hesitating cause I already have a metric crapton of stuff on my plate, plus it would be very spoilery because it would end the same way things are going now (Aerion would go down the magic route). No, I won't provide context here, because that would mean spoiling exactly what he's doing over there (and by extension the whole ending), so I'll just leave it at that.
But if we're talking an idealized version of that, Aerea would have a bad time. She'd feel alone, alienated and cling to Aerion even harder than before to get emotional fullfilment. He would be better to her, at least because she's doing what he's wanted of her since the beginning (having his baby and being wifey), so the only upside is that they would have grown closer and even more emotionally and sexually enmeshed (like constant touching, and intense lizard sex where they're trying to cannibalize each other; but mostly the other's bodily fluids 💀)
My girl aerea needs friends 😭 I feel like the only person whos somewhat there for her is daeron and hes a drunk so i reckon hes not much help 💔 Like shes stuck being haunted by her mad brother-husband (whos cheating on her and doing god knows what), AND has a mixed signal thing going on with valarr (bro get it together). Girls going through the worst postpartum depression phase ever 😔
Oh yes, but the issue here is, she's a difficult person with some intense trauma and that makes connecting with others and maintaining friendship hard to do. Plus, she does self sabotage a lot, and projects her internalized mysoginy onto other women, seeing them more as rivals than potential friends she can bond with.
The issue is just that since her biggest experience with relationships is a toxic, extremely codependent and enmeshed bond with Aerion, every other relationship will feel unsatisfactory. And any normal person would find the amount of emotional reassurance and attention she craves exhausting.

See that's the central question; why does she have gaps in her memory? Why does she suppress her dreams? You'll find that out at the end of the fic 👀
Yes. They have a codependent, extremely intense bond thats fueled by narcissism, obsession, sibling love, sibling rivalry and unhinged romantic and sexual attraction. So it's not healthy by any stretch, but it is there (part of the reason neither of them can break free of each other)
Will daenora end up being a victim in the whole aerion drama? considering she’ll be 15 and you mentioned aerions similar to aerys 🤔🤔
I mean her age will always make her the victimized party in this scenario, so however you spin it, Aerion is in the wrong here. However, when it comes to their dynamic, it's not going to be how you think it is.
WaiT not sure if you covered this already, but since we know what Aerion gets up to during his time in Lys (other than having bastards lol) and joins the Second Sons at one point..that being said...

Yes, post exile period starts in the aftermath of the third blackfyre rebellion. Cannonically that's when Aerion dragged his ass back, so the rebellion will play a massive role in bringing him back in Cleaved

Kind of like a ‘you sent me away so now I’m punishing you from afar and there’s nothing you can do about it’ type of thing? Did he get the concubine pregnant as a fuck you to her for trying to get rid of his kid, is it to get her attention or just because he wanted to? Surprisingly, this was more his coping mechanisms and his delusion than active punishment. Let's just say, he and Aerea are in the same boat; they're both isolated, and directionless. Except Aerea has it easier, cause she's in a familiar environment and has some sort of support system (her siblings and extended family).
Aerion is halfway across the world in a foreign court, surrounded by people he barely knows and hates. He had a falling out with dad and has basically become the least favorite child now, and on top of that, he's lost the one thing that would have kept him afloat; his codependent relationship with Aerea.
So him behaving this way, is a sign of his spiral, him giving into his most violent impulses because he has nothing else. Yes, there's an element of anger there, a desire to break free of the relarionship and prove to himself he can be without her. Rule of thumb is, everything Aerea is feeling— isolation, guilt, confusion, alienation—he's feeling it too, except he has the fun house mirror version, that's amplified and distorted by his anger and violent impulses.
