Theo waited a few moments to see if she was move. When she didn’t, he gently moved her away from himself and smiled at her. “I can draw the bath for you if you want,” He shrugged, figuring that it was the least he could do to help her out an bit more more. “I could throw in one of those colors things you like, you’re on your own after that though.” He said, throwing in a wink in an attempt to make her at least smile a bit. “You can pick the movie tonight, no objections from me.” Theo led her, knowing that she loved their movie nights and hoping that it would possibly cheer her up, or at least relax her.

Rachel groaned a little as she felt the cold air rush between them. Pulling his jacket around her a little more as she listened to him. “That’d be nice..” She said softly. “They’re called bath bombs…” She laughed a little having to tell him, and even more so at his little joke. Looking up she gave him a small smile. Hoping it would ease him a little with her state. “Can it be New Moon?” She asked softly with a bigger smile than before.

Theo groaned a little, but agreed nonetheless. As soon as he suggested the idea he knew what movie she was going to suggest, seeing as it was her favorite. Although it was growing on him, but he wouldn't let her know that. “Yes now go take a bath, that way I can get everything ready.” He paused for a moment, “I’ll even let Boo into the room with us.” Theo said he while rolling his eyes as he began to make his way into the kitchen.

“So…ghouls. Before if I’m high when I inevitably get eaten by one, will the ghoul who does it catch a buzz? These are the big, important questions here, I wonder why nobody’s asking them.”

“You know, I’m not an expert or anything.” Theo said while sliding the kid his drink. "But I don’t think that’s how it works.” He shook his head, chuckling a bit.

Theo only shushed her quietly and held her tightly, knowing that she was far from being able to form cohesive sentences. She didn't need to say anything for him to be able to guess what happened. While he was curious about where she’d been and her choice of clothing, that didn't matter at the moment. He would forget about it and never even bring it up if that's what she wanted. When they reached the side door to the bar, which led them to their loft, he did have to put her down in order to the each reach into his pants pocket and grab his key. He kept an arm wrapped around her waist is though, afraid that she might collapse at any moment. “Go ahead and draw yourself a bath and relax. I’ll cook something small for us to eat and when you’re done we can eat and talk, alright?” He smiled at her once they were in living room.

Rachel knew the gun shot would rise attention to anyone near. It didn’t bother her though. At this point she wasn’t sure how much more she could take being a human in this town. Nothing was safe, and there was no escaping any of it. Her eyes were fixed on the body, the lifeless body she just ended. Before they were a ghoul she knew they were human too.. maybe… either way, they were someone. They had parents, and a life. One Rachel just took and ended. 

Hearing a body approach she looked down at her gun making sure it was close by before shaking her head softly. “What have I done…”

Theo was on his nightly prowl when he heard the gunshots. He ran off towards where it came from. He stopped, hoping that he was imagining the scene in front of him. Walking over to the ghoul, he made sure it was dead. Then withought a word he took his jacket off, wrapping it around Rachel. She wasn't wearing much and it was cold, he didn't want her to get sick. He picked her up bridal style, unsure if she could even move and started walking towards their loft.

“You do? What movie?” She laughed a little cleaning up the bar top. Rachel was impressed he had something picked out already. Biting at her cheek he tossed her small name tag and other work things in her special spot and made a face. “I… well then.. do I get it now?”

“It’s a surprise and you’ll have to wait until after dinner to get your gift.” He smirked. “I even got something for the little devil.” Theo laughed, knowing that she’d know he was talking about the damn cat. Boo was growing on him though, but he wouldn’t admit that.

Gemma rolled her eyes and folded her arms to set her head in them. “Yes I am. And I’m moody. It’s like werewolf PMS on crack.” She grumbled. “Will you please? I don’t want to um… hurt a human.” She made a face. It was too weird to say human when just a little while ago that was her. Looking up she shook her head. “Talking would lead to killing. I think it’s better I just … don’t.”

He nodded his head, “Just stop in a little before sundown during the next full moon and I’ll take you with me.” Theo grinned. “I think that you deserve a drink,” He said as he passed a shot glass over to her. “Although I do think you should talk to someone, even if it’s like over the phone. Just say what needs to be said an then see how things go from there. If they work out, great! If they don’t, well at least you tried.” He shrugged.

Rachel bit her lip and grinned a little more as she heard him. With the weather being so cold it honestly sounded amazing to be snuggled up with Theo. “Yes please… it’s kinda chilly outside and my room can only get so warm. ” she gave an innocent smile before pulling away. “Fine you can pick the movie this time.”

He just laughed, knowing that she just enjoyed how big his bed and tv were. "Good because I already know what movie I want to watch." Theo grinned. It was almost closing time for the bar so he began to slowly start shooing people out while also alerting them that they'd now be closed on the Holiday. "There's just one thing that I want you to do for me Rach." He said to her once everyone was gone. "You have to except my Christmas present to you, and trust me when I say that you're going to love it."

I Can Explain? || Theo & Archie

Theo was taking his late night walk, he did this multiple times a week. He’d actually not run into any trouble for over a week, so he was beginning to wonder if he’d gotten rid of all the trouble makers. Of course it wasn’t that easy though, he soon found someone attempting to break into someone’s home. He couldn’t help but wonder how dumb the person was, considering how they didn’t seem to be looking to see if anyone was coming at all, which was how Theo was able to just about sneak up on the guy. 

“Excuse me sir,” He spoke up from behind the guy. Quickly the man turned around, holding out a crow bar for defense. Theo couldn’t help but laugh, the man was about half his size and only had a crow bar to defend himself with. “Good try” He said with a wink before he pushed the mans arm down with one hand and punched the guy with the other. It didn’t surprise him that the guy passed out with that one hit considering Theo was fairly strong because of his werewolf qualities. 

“I don’t want to do this, believe me.” He said as he kneeled down next to the man. “But you’ve left me no choice, you shouldn’t of been breaking into this persons house.” Theo shrugged right before he shoved his hand into the mans chest, successfully ripping out the mans soul. 

Before Theo could safely put it away though, he heard something from behind him. He froze, before he even turned around he called out, “Who’s there? I already know that someone’s there so you can’t hide.” He turned around, eyes landing on a boy.

The bar was so crowded tonight, almost like it’s a holiday or something.

Theo chuckled at the girls sarcasm. “People like to drown their sorrows, which is what alcohol is for.”

Rachel gave an innocent smile before feeling him hug her and she shut her eyes for a moment and let herself hide away in the much needed hug from him. “I miss you though. We need a movie night. ” She smiled up at him with a small nod. “I’d love that. If we closed and spent the day together.” She smiled at him before nuzzling back into a hug. Rachel didn’t realize how much she actually needed it herself.

He smiled back at her, “Ok then after dinner we can go in my room and watch a movie.” He told her, knowing that she loved his room. “Do you want to chose it or can I for once?” Usually Rachel chooses the movie and it’s almost always some dumb werewolf movie that she makes fun of him about.

“Oh, just wanted to ask her opinion on tea.” Marty wanted to surprise Donovan with a few relaxing brews. Rachel was the only person in town that Marty knew who had knowledge of tea. “You wouldn’t happen to know anything about herbal teas, would you?”

“Teas? Nope. Beers? Yes.” He laughed. “Rachel let’s me drink some every once in a while though, but I don’t know what they’re called. Sorry I can’t be of more help.”

Rachel rolled her eyes at him and laughed a bit removing her arms from his middle. “Yeah, but I do.” She smiled a little over at him. “Uh.. what? No! No.. I want to be spending it with you. I don’t.. Just.. busy getting stuff for the dinner.” 

He just laughed, although he knew she was lying but he wasn’t going to outright accuse her of it. He cared about her too much to do that. “It’s fine, I was just teasing.” He smiled, pulling her in for a quick hug. “I’ll close the place and we can have dinner and even exchange presents.” He released her, keeping his hands on her shoulders. “How does that sound?”

“I need to be nice in my line of work or else I’d make no money” He laughed. “What are you doing in this part of town? Heading to go get a drink?”

“Well normally, you know I was just stuck here with my best friend. Being human I couldn’t really go home. She hates me now, and I’m a werewolf and can leave, but how to explain poofing from the world to my father? I don’t! And my best friend hates me did I mention that part? So, you know what, you can deal with me for Christmas, you grumpy Grinch.” 

He raised his eyebrow as the girl basically told him her whole life story. He didn’t remember giving her an excessive amount of alcohol, but it appears he might’ve. “You’re a werewolf now? That’s cool, I can show you a good place to go during full moons if you want.” He shrugged as he poured her a drink. “Have you tried talking to any of these people? A lot of times if you just talked things out with people they understand.”

Marty waited for the bartender to finish yelling at the drunkard patiently. That wasn’t something she wanted to be in the middle of. When the man stumbled back to what he was doing she approached the grumpy bartender. “Excuse me,” She smiled sweetly as if to stave off his prickly attitude, “Is Rachel working tonight?”

He immediately turned towards the woman asking for his attention, putting his normal lopsided grin on his face. “No, I gave her the night off.” Theo said to the girl, becoming curious as to why she was looking for his friend. Although a lot of people did come to the bar just for Rachel. “Any particular reason why your looking for her? I can always give her a message when she gets back if you want.”
