So we just spent a couple of days at pretty little Conway Beach...well it was pretty when we could see it! The rain folks - the rain!! ☂ Sure makes for soggy caravamping!! Look I can admit to being obsessed with old buildings...just like this one. But it feels like something more to me - like stories and history are getting lost sometimes in these country towns. This old place has got a wire fence wrapped right round it. I hate to think it is going to be flattened. Can't somebody out there arrange for me to travel around doing prints of all these old buildings across Australia? So we came into Mount Isa last night. I've heard all sorts of things about this place but I guess it depends on where you come from. I found the drive in at sunset beautiful and compared to Hedland the town looked quite prosperous and well kitted up.
