I’m kinda getting back into HL but the vast majority of my main blog is filled with HP stuff, so a lot of HL people don’t see it. Decided to make a sideblog for my HL stuff, mostly screenies.
Main is @amethystandemma. Likes and follows come from there.
If we’re moots and friends you’ll probably get screenies from me at some point.
My screenshots will be tagged with the tag #amethystandemma screenshots
On July 15th, one of my very best friends gained another year in age. She still managed to be wonderful and incredible every single day. @butternutt613 I love you so much, and I apologize for the shortness of this written birthday gift. I hope you like it!
(Cael, Cadmus, Claudius, and Augustine all belong to @bloodlineofblues)
There were many things Baroness Charlotte Saphiris missed about being alive.
In the afterlife, the wind didn't feel quite the same as it blew through her brown curls. Her heels didn't make quite as satisfying of a click as she danced through the golden halls with her husband. There was no need for her to sleep except to pass time.
However, the upsides outweighed the downsides.
Her husband, Baron Caelestus Saphiris, was safe. She no longer had to worry about the danger he was getting into; not that she knew that much about what all he was doing. The Sun King was finally able to lay down his head and rest.
There were loved ones and friends who had passed before her she was able to see again. Granted, there were a few others she didn't really wish to engage with there as well, but she mostly had no trouble avoiding them.
One of the things she enjoyed most of all, and found most frustrating, was being able to see her living descendants any time she wished.
Every time Charlotte checked in on her youngest son Claudius, she felt as if she would be sick to her stomach. She always knew the conditions in Azkaban were horrid, but seeing her son inside that prison was torture.
Seeing her eldest son, Cadmus, didn't make her feel much better. The company he kept was vile. The way he lived his life was incredibly saddening to watch. How could the son she had raised turn up like this?
That is why Charlotte spent most of her time watching her only grandson, Augustine. He was so full of life, so brilliant, she couldn't help but be captivated by him. Despite the tragedies that had befallen him from a young age, he still managed to pull through and thrive.
"Are you still watching Augustine?" Caelestus asked, resting a hand on Charlotte's shoulder.
Charlotte nodded with a smile. "He is wonderful," she signed.
Caelestus gently squeezed Charlotte's shoulder as he leaned down to her side. He pressed a soft kiss against her cheek. "He got that from you."
You are the one person with who I can truly be myself around

Summary: the first ever Saoiriel interaction. Sorry it’s not proof read, and badly timed- I was trying to shove as many ideas as possible in while I was sleepy so pacing and coherency was the least of my concerns. My fine babe Daniel belongs to @syrooo hope you like this when you wake up my love, sorry if Daniel js OOC, I’ll probs edit when I’m less sleepy (that’s a lie)
“Fuck off, ya cailleach mhíthaitneamhach!” A girl screamed, “Imigh leat, a bhitch — téigh go hifreann.” Although Daniel couldn’t tell exactly what she was saying, it was clearly profanities muttered in…Irish? Oh yes- there had been a new Irish transfer student earlier that week, rumour had it she was Liam Calloway’s cousin.
Daniel didn’t get a glimpse of her before she was dragged away by teachers, due to the large crowds causing congestion in the hallway as they watched the fight unfold. The person who was being fought was taken to the healers.
He was late to his next class but the teachers figured it was acceptable considering the hallways being blocked.
“Mhm- that’s right love, can you go grab the milk for me?” Hummed Liam, stirring the batter as Cordelia went to go fetch the milk,
“Listen, I don’t know what you want to know Daniel but stay away from my cousin.” Liam shot him a most uncharacteristically venomous look, “you’re a great guy but…she’s been through a lot. I can’t have her get hurt or harassed again. She’s already facing bullying in the corridors after what happened today. I won’t let her the subject to more cruelty.” the bowl was slammed down with unnecessary force. Cordelia raised an eyebrow and put a hand on Liams forearm. He pinched the bridge of his nose,
“Sorry I just- everyone’s been asking me about her today. Asking where she is or her name or just- people want to heckle her, get a rise out of the ‘lunatic’. I don’t want them to have that satisfaction.”
“Calloway I do hope you aren’t implying I’d do anything of the sort?”
“Of course not. You’re great. I’d trust you with my life. I just don’t trust anyone with Saoirse right now.”
“Saoirse?” He tasted the name in his tongue, “Well at any rate, it isn’t of utmost importance to meet her- she just piqued my interest.”
“Un-pique it. Besides, she’ll be gone in a year.”
The silver haired boy took a walk on the grounds, book in hand and robe folded neatly under his arm because the summer breeze still lingered in the October crispness.
There was a girl, sat by the black lake- alone and seemingly out of place. Though she blended in with the leaves, which were turning orange at the tips,
“Go away I don’t need y-.”she didn’t even glance up at him
“Well that’s not a very polite conversation starter.” He stayed standing.
“Oh- I thought you were-.”
“Liam?”
“How did you-.”
“He’s a friend.”
Slowly, as if trying not to spook a skittish animal, he lowered himself to sit beside her. He noticed that she had a roll of bandages around her knuckles. She’d patched herself up alone-…
She finally glanced up at him and he could’ve sworn he felt his breath catch. Now, Daniel wasn’t usually the kind of man to go speechless upon first meeting someone, but how could he not be?
Eyes green as the Irish moors on a misty morning, freckles dusting her cheeks, pouty pink lips, brows seemingly in a permanent furrow,
“What? Cat got your tongue pretty boy? Are you here to do anything or did you just come to stare?” She scoffed, used to being stared at already.
“No I just-.” He held a hand out, “Let me help.” Maybe there was more to her than a screaming, kicking, flailing girl who screamed and got into fights.
Despite her glare, she hesitantly banded over her bandages and placed her wrist in his hand. He noticed a littering of crescent shaped cuts on her palm, as if she’d been digging her nails into it…he didn’t comment on it.
“Is your knuckle alright, ma belle? Sometimes people use the wrong technique when fighting and injure themselves,”
“Ma belle?”
“Do you not like it?”
“No I just…didn’t expect it.”
They sat in silence for a handful of moments before he nodded to her tie,
“Slytherin huh?”
“Don’t even get me started on this schools stupid.” She tilted her head back with a long sigh. “I fucking hate these houses. Slytherin- what a stupid name. Pure blood supremacist? No thank you. From what I’ve seen, this whole house is just full of pompous brats. And then there’s the reds- chivalry my ass. And Ravenclaw is just insufferable know it alls-.”
“Insufferable? You seemed to be enjoying my company, ma belle.”
In response, she couldn’t hold back a small smile. And oh…
She had fangs
Little ones peeking over her lip. But when she caught him staring, her expression immediately hardened, her posture straightening.
“What? Are you one of those people who hate werewolves?” She recoiled ever so slightly.
“No. Not at all. Quite the contrary, in fact.” He whispered, “Do it again.”
“Do what?”
“Laugh.”
“At least buy me dinner first,” she scoffed, through a smile.
And that’s how Daniel, the elusive, silver haired, sharp tongue pretty boy, somehow ended up wherever Saoirse O’Byrne was, despite her being a weird, angry, werewolf girl. Maybe opposites do attract
You literally lose your agency with it and become obsessive with the target. The fact that Fred and George were selling it in the joke shop sets like a REALLYYYY bad precedent that it’s all fun in games when it’s really not
Y’all are allowed to like storylines and write what you write, obviously, but I think it DOES need to be tagged as a rape drug because that’s what it literally is
Edward Lucian Glasspetal (1876-1947) was a pureblood wizard who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the late 19th century. His strong sense of justice led him to get into some extremely difficult situations, but he managed to hold his own.
Born to Fionn and Laoise Glasspetal in Ireland, Edward had a pretty normal childhood. His family moved to Little Hangleton when he was five years old into the manor that would stay in his family for generations to come. It was there he met the Gaunts, who didn’t live that far away from his own home. Was he close with them? Not really. But he knew them.
It was because of the Gaunts that the Glasspetals moved in the first place because of Edward’s betrothal to Ophelia Gaunt, the older twin sister of Ominis.
Edward mostly tried to get through Hogwarts with as little drama as possible. He did his work at an acceptable level and kept his head down for the most part, as he did in primary school. He didn’t try to go out of his way to engage with other students, but he did have a few friends nonetheless. Unfortunately, he did get dragged into situations because of Ophelia.
Edward and Ophelia’s relationship wasn’t exactly the greatest. He didn’t want to marry her, but he had a sense of duty that he felt he had to go through with.
Their relationship didn’t grow better. After Hogwarts, Edward came home from work as an Auror to find Ophelia in an unhinged state. She had convinced herself that he was cheating on her and was going to trap him in an eternal prison for his infidelity: a mirror realm. Her plan backfired however, and Edward was the one to trap her in the mirror.
He went on his own for a while after that. The idea of putting himself out there and opening up for the potential to be hurt again was terrifying.
Then, he met her.

Time for a proper introduction of... Molly Ghasemi!
Birthday: September 9th
Height: 5'7" (170cm)
House: Ravenclaw
Blood Status: Previously thought to be a squib
Molly grew up in a family of witches and wizards, being the middle daughter of the Ghasemi family. Due to her magic not showing right away, her family thought her to be a squib, perhaps even wondering if it was due to her having a weak heart growing up. They were saddened by this, but she was secretly content with the prospect of being a squib, however, because she thought wielding magic would make her life more of a hassle. She was more interested in muggle life, and would often wish she was born as a full muggle instead.
However, her magic did indeed show a few years later, and she was grumpily able to join her sister Stella at Hogwarts for year 3. She wasn't excited to have magic like Stella was--and Hogwarts was much different than what she was used to with magic at home. She kept to herself mostly, just trying to get on. But over time, she made friends and began to excel in almost all of her studies and became a skilled witch in her own right. Molly learned to embrace this piece of her identity and ended up becoming friends with Eli, Liam, and Kai.
Molly generally is more reserved at first--preferring peace and quiet above all else. But, she is secretly quite playful once she gets to know people. She often teases to show affection.
She has quite a penchant for junk food, often seen sneaking snacks in.
Molly is taller with a more slender figure, and often wears colors that bring our her sapphire eyes.
Molly excels in Herbology the best, and often enjoys tending to her assignments for the class.
Decided to share a current W.I.P I have sitting in my art app 😭
I havent done anything with Laci story wise, and I'm honestly starting to regret it because of how she parallels Sebastians story.
Laci is very connected to Isadora and Sebastian. Lacis mother is very sick, and has been for a long time, so Sebastians efforts to find a cure for Anne align with Lacis desires to help her mother. They're both desperate teens trying to keep their families together.
Laci is very against the keepers, and empathizes with Isadora wanting to help her grieving father. Laci knows that Isadora went overboard with using her magic on students, but she is determined to prove that her ancient magic can be used in a good way. If not to remove emotional pain, then to take away magical pain. She manages to convince Anne to let her help. Laci wants to surprise Sebastian, so she doesnt say anything to him. After the process, Laci receives an urgent owl from Ominis about Sebastian going back for the relic. Laci urges Anne to stay home and recover
Laci catches Anne at the train after she leaves Feldcroft. They talk. Anne apologizes on Sebastians behalf because he dragged Laci into his mess, but Laci says she willingly helped him and she had her own motivations to working with him. Laci says that Sebastian most likely wont be convicted because of self defense. She wont have a criminal for a brother. Anne says that she needs time to process what's happened during the year. Laci reminds Anne that she can always write to her, and that her brother loves her.
Laci returns home one weekend to visit her mother in the hospital and attempts to relieve her mother of the physical strain her sickness has given her. But no matter how hard she pushes, nothing is working. Her mother is still sick. Her others pain isnt magical or emotional, its physical. Laci cant heal damaged organs with her magic.
She returns to Hogwarts the week of exams. She's in the undercroft grappling with her failure to cure her mother when Sebastian finds her and tries to comfort her. Laci can't bear to be near Sebastian because all she can see is herself. It's like looking in a mirror.
