"i do," kitae answers, voice soft. the feeling is inexplicable, at least for him. there isn't much in his life that's missing; most people would say so. he has a career that comes with just a little bit of fame, a tight-knit circle of friends, a family life that's idyllic and wholesome. he could date, too, if he only wanted to.
truth to be told, it's not that he doesn't want to. what stops him is the things he's seen, the things he's experienced—that other world that haunts his dreams and sometimes his waking moments, too. he's asked for it, sticking his nose in places where it doesn't belong. sooner rather than later, things were bound to go south.

Settling an argument with cuteness and physical affection may not be the best way but it helped that Daphne opened up vocally as well, although not too much just yet.
