please never let anyone tell you that you can’t ship with a character just because someone else ships with them as well. and vice versa, never ever tell someone their ship isn’t valid just because you/someone you know ship(s) with the same character.
the whole point of self shipping is for comfort and love and support. we are all already outcast in so many of our fandoms and other communities for self shipping. stop turning on each other. stop acting like it’s possible to “own” your f/o. you don’t own that f/o. if you don’t feel comfortable sharing? that’s totally okay, but please handle it kindly. that character means a great deal to that other person as well. don’t be an asshole.
