Spongebob APATHY AU

Author Notes: this is based off of the official human design AKA the Spongebob musical design, i found some pretty cool human designs online though so shout out to people who made them! Two that i liked was The Noit 🍕🧻’s and MAO DRAWS (or calmao666), so just think of one of those designs for this AU!

This is somewhat of a script for when I maybe turn it into a fan fic? Idk i might just remove the stuff and turn it into a summary kinda thing lol.

Chapter Idea note, i do plan to make a few filler stuff to make sure that time actually passes over the course of a couple of days, like maybe Mr.Krabs schedule starting to feel a little empty without Plankton barging in with a new plan or Spongebob becoming determined to find out what happened to Plankton after the ray hit him. Something like that.

Prologue:

So Plankton decided to pick back up one of his old plans that Karen said was bad one late night in his lab, the plan was to take away Bikini Bottom’s emotion of happiness from eating a Krabby Patty to manipulate them into going to the Chum Bucket, so he went to work creating it. Karen found out since Plankton isn't quite a good liar and told Mr.Krabs about it, Mr.Krabs was infuriated at it like usual and dragged along Spongebob and Squidward to confront Plankton in his own lab, Plankton himself was annoyed as to be expected by the drop in from Mr.Krabs. A one sided battle ensues with the Chum Buckets security system when Mr.Krabs tried to destroy the machine with his bare hands, Squidward gets beat up and just hides behind a table in the front, and Spongebob does well as he does with his kind of luck as well he tries to bargain with Plankton about shutting down the plan. Plankton outright refuses as Mr.Krabs only puts up a real fight due to his annoyance and training, Plankton readies his ray as Spongebob slips and Mr.Krabs throws a wrench at the ray, throwing ray out of place and pointed at Plankton. Plankton presses the button from his remote and the rays laser shoots him in the back of the head, not wanting to face legal consequences, he flees with Spongebob and Squidward in hand as Karen returns and leaves Plankton sprawled on the ground.

Plankton slowly starts to come to as Karen picks him up from the floor and expresses a little bit of concern before the “I told so”s start coming, Plankton is still getting his footing though, the ray probably hit him harder than most punches or kicks he’s taken. He stays silent as Karen keeps talking, walking to the kitchen as he grabs a jar and returns to scoop some red goop from the floor that was near Plankton when he was knocked out, he threw the jar filled with the red goop inside the labs incinerator and watched it burn for a good minute. Karen realized Plankton wasn't listening and called out his name a few times, Plankton snapped out of whatever he was doing and turned back to Karen. He somewhat listened and waved it off as just another failure before telling Karen to prepare a meeting with Mr.Krabs as he begins sifting through some things in the lab.

Chapter 1:

The next day Mr.Krabs receives a letter from Karen to meet Plankton at the Chum bucket in five minutes and to go alone, Mr.Krabs is suspicious but accepts anyway, he walks into the Chum Bucket to see it in its usual state albeit a little more…cleaner? Plankton entered the front of the Chum Bucket and wasn't smiling smugly for once, Plankton greeted Mr.Krabs with enthusiasm and reached his hand out to shake it, Mr.Krabs reluctantly did so since he was obviously suspicious about the whole meeting. Plankton then starts talking about how they've been at odds since they were children and how over the years he’s been defeated countless times, but yesterday he finally saw the light that the whole thing was idiotic in the first place, so why keep trying? Mr.Krabs was barely surprised when hearing about this, he’s done this before but only for a short time before reverting back, before he can get suspicion in Plankton pulls out a piece of paper from his desk. Plankton says it's a contract that he will never bother Mr.Krabs nor try to steal the Krabby Patty secret formula again, now THIS was what Mr.Krabs was actually surprised about, Plankton held out the contract and pen with his signature already on it. Mr.Krabs thought about it only for a minute before signing the contract, being more than happy about getting Plankton out of his hair, Plankton gives the contract to Mr.Krabs to show to his employees and even hang it up if he wishes. Plankton waves goodbye to Mr.Krabs as he watches him leave the Chum Bucket and walks into the Krusty Krab with joy as Plankton turns back into the Chum Bucket, he puts a sign on the front door saying “closed” as Plankton gets to work on something new through the night, and besides not like Mr.Krabs even noticed that his once bright red eye was now softened to a lighter shade.

Chapter 2:

After a few days, the Chum Bucket is abandoned and closed, and business was as good as ever with the Krusty Krab. Spongebob did feel bad about Plankton leaving but everyone else didn't seem to mind, a few days pass as the Chum Bucket is demolished and scheduled to be replaced by a new billboard for the Krusty Krab, eventually as another morning rose over Bikini Bottom and a newspaper drops at many peoples doorsteps. Suddenly, a surprise news announcement comes onto the tv’s of Spongebob and his friends, a city filled with plankton appeared and discovered a few days ago and it rivals Atlantic City by attraction and architecture! Spongebob was just about to clock into the Krusty Krab but Mr.Krabs throws Spongebob and Squidward into his car and closes the Krusty Krab for the day as he puts up a sign that says “Gone Fishing”, he then drives off with the contract that he and Plankton signed to see what Plankton might be cooking up. Spongebob is inherently a little worried about Mr.Krabs overstepping but is determined to see how Plankton is holding up since he didn't get a chance to see him after the fight, Squidward on the other hand isn't so happy, as to be expected for randomly being thrown into a car to find your bosses arch enemy after saying that he would leave you alone from there on out a few days ago.

After a day on the road, the trio arrives in the city, bustling with all different kinds of people and buildings. Shops, apartment buildings, and a restaurant or two file across the streets as a giant castle-like building is in the center of the city. The castle-like building is seemingly Plankton’s new house or the city capital, the trio was amazed and a little flabbergasted at the sight, almost as quickly they got here they got distracted by the sights of the city. Spongebob was the most out of sight since he was always the quickest to wander off, Mr.Krabs followed, and Squidward was a little reluctant as always. The day then went by like a blur, the trio clumsily ending up at the city capital’s steps, it seemed like a party was starting inside it. Mr.Krabs, Spongebob, and Squidward peeked inside to see a very unexpected sight. Plankton was greeting guests in the middle of the entrance room along with a now bigger Karen, looks like Plankton hooked her up to the whole castle, the tv screen of hers was lined up on the walls. Plankton then spotted the three of them and told Karen to bring them in.

Some of Karen’s robot arms come out of the walls and gently led them inside as Plankton walks up to some sort of platform in the giant room and stands on it, announcing his best wishes for the city and regretting what he’s done in the past, before leaving he tells Karen to start the music as the people around start dancing. Spongebob quickly follows, yelling Plankton's name as he runs into the back room, Plankton not far in front of him. He seemed strangely...delighted to see him, welcoming him with a very energetic handshake, he didn't know if he was really going to follow him or just wait until the party was over so he had simply hoped for the best. Mr.Krabs soon followed up a few seconds later, he was a little bit weirded out since Plankton wasn't immediately angry at him, Plankton gave the same handshake and smile though. Mr.Krabs then started to ask a dozen questions in his head, Plankton was giving him a curious stare as Mr.Krabs stood there with a half shocked and half awkward expression, Plankton then decided to invite them to join the party and have a fun night to themselves. Spongebob went back to Squidward who was eating his heart out at the food table while Mr.Krabs watched Plankton walk further down the hallway, Mr.Krabs gripped the contract in his fist and decided not to ask him what he’s been doing for the past couple of days, he let Plankton go this time as he goes to the food table with Squidward and Spongebob.

Chapter 3:

Plankton’s footsteps echoed through the hall as the party noises of the main room drummed to a close the farther he got from it, why were they here? Don't get him wrong, it was a lovely surprise to see them, but why bring the contract?...just another hunch from Eugene, he’s sure of it, guess he still doesn't trust him. That's just another thing he’ll have to earn back after all these years, after all, he does plan to sever some connections that he should have done a while ago. Karen then pops up on a screen in the hallway, asking Plankton if he’s ready to give his welcoming speech yet, he responds with a yes and ascends up a staircase to a balcony-like area overlooking the giant main room. He picks up a nearby wine glass as he clinks on it with a knife, grabbing the attention of everyone, he then begins his welcoming speech, hoping that everyone will support his city and his endeavor to further the progression of it. The audience claps and there's a loud cheer that's probably from Spongebob, he doesn't have time to check though as he disappears again and starts to walk again in the hallway, his footsteps again echoing through the hallway.

The party rages on, hours after Plankton's speech, the trio hear the noise even after leaving the building. Mr.Krabs is somewhat satisfied with the meeting, Spongebob is now just ranting to Squidward, meanwhile Squidward was draped in multiple party hats and neon necklaces due to accidentally falling into the massive dancing blob. The trio hop back into Mr.Krabs car and drive off again, not knowing that Plankton was watching them from a balcony as they did so, almost like a final send off. Well, to him at least.

The party was finally over as everyone left and Plankton worked inside his lab on the top floor, staying silent as he welded something together, occasionally looking over to a new invention blueprint. Though, Karen seemed a slight bit...concerned about the sudden silence, taking up the room instead of maniacal laughter or incessant ranting. But she was going to enjoy it while it lasts as she powers off for the night and Plankton finishes welding the new invention’s shell together, he then looked at a now black screen as he stood up and started to program a new protocol into Karen.

SBSP CORAL CONTROL AU

The Idea:

Somewhat of a horror or angst AU, involves Plankton as the MC and The Coral as the villain, this is future Beados10 writing since I mostly forgot what the main idea was.

Authors Notes:

Human designs go brrrr (I will use normal designs in a AU one day trust)

I need to transfer the iPad stuff here :(

Descriptions:

The Coral is a sentient being that feeds off of certain brain chemicals and twists the mind, its been in a forest for a very long time, evolving away from other coral species due to its environment

RANDOM FLUFF IDEA RAHHHH:

After failing for the billionth time and Plankton nearly having an actual serious mental breakdown from having an existential crisis on whether or not to keep on going for his impossible goal, Karen decides to take him on a vacation to try and take his mind off of it, but sadly Mr Krabs is suspicious that Plankton is planning something big and follows them at every turn but Karen counters him just the same, honestly Plankton and Karen genuinely have a nice time together while Plankton eventually feels a bit better after everything.

Plankton spends WAY to much time (like a week) awake trying to create a new idea but is sadly dealing with burnout (idk if i want this tie in with my first fluff idea but i prob will lol) and tries to pull himself together (for Karen's sake after dealing with his grumpy and annoying ass all week) but fails miserably at it because the sleep deprivation is starting to catch up to him and his body is starting to fail him comically when he tries to pull himself together and is too stubborn to rest (bc of course he is), but eventually tries and fails to execute his plan as always and just goes home to probably spend even more days creating a plan but barely makes it into the Chum Bucket before passing out on the floor. Karen secretly puts him back in his bed to sleep tho hehe. (wondering if I accidentally made angst)
