i need to make an official post on my views of the david x lucy ship and how i'm going to be handling it. honestly, noooot a fan of the ship. that is a twenty year old woman who started dating a seventeen year old child. it's fucking weird. idc if it's n.ight city. plus, lucy needs someone smarter and more mature than david was. preferably someone not so clearly suicidal. i'm not going to ignore it / strike it from her canon bc it was SUPER impactful, but she will NOT be with david in any au verses. it was a "first love" relationship, but it was never going to last. they probably wouldn't have lasted too much longer anyway.
