Selene crawls out of her blog’s grave.
“The Team Rocket motto’s copyrighted, right...?”
"... Does someone need a cup of water or something? I can go get one.”
“Am I a twerp to you?”
“It’s 3 am. Can we please stop screaming?"
What’s your type?
“Excuse me, and pardon my language for a moment, but what the fuck.”
{Selene}
She took the Oran Berry and chomped into it, devouring it in only two bites. It wasn’t much, but at least it helped somewhat. Though her heart still heart so much… It was torture, to the Eevee.
“Thank you, Naru.”
[⚡] The Pikachu watched as she took the berry from him, devouring it rather quickly. He hoped it had helped her out some. He knew it probably wasn’t much, but he hoped that it at least did something for her. Poor fox needed it. “Of course, Selene.”
She rubbed her arm gently, letting out a small sigh. Her ears lowered as she sat down, keeping herself upright with her paws. She’d have a bit of explaining to do, she thought, looking at the ground.
“You’re... probably wondering what all of that was, huh?”
{Selene}
“It… hurts…”
She eventually lightly gripped him, looking over at the Pikachu. She was starting to regain feeling and control of her body. She was still in a lot of pain from what her aura had done, but it was better than the alternative.
[⚡] His ears drooped at her words. What could he do to help her? Did he have anything with him that would help ease the pain? He quickly looked through his bag before pulling out an Oran Berry, handing it to her. He often carried food with him since detective work could take a lot of time and energy. He couldn’t do his job on an empty stomach.
“Here. This might help,” he offered.
She took the Oran Berry and chomped into it, devouring it in only two bites. It wasn’t much, but at least it helped somewhat. Though her heart still heart so much... It was torture, to the Eevee.
“Thank you, Naru.”
{Selene}
She gripped the Pikachu tightly, crying out in pain as their aura kept flaring out of control before it finally began to die down. Selene panted softly, exhausted as it felt like she was being torn apart…
She just let herself go limp in the rodent’s embrace, struggling to catch her breath.
[⚡] Naru held the Eevee close, not daring to let her go. She clearly needed someone right now and even though they had just met, he wasn’t going to turn her away like that. He was taken by surprise once she went limp in his hold and he gripped tighter onto Selene to make sure she didn’t fall to the ground. He wished he could do more to help her, but this would have to do for now.
“It... hurts...”
She eventually lightly gripped him, looking over at the Pikachu. She was starting to regain feeling and control of her body. She was still in a lot of pain from what her aura had done, but it was better than the alternative.
Propose. (Guess a good way to begin a ship with Selene and Naru. XD)
“Whoa whoa whoa! Hold up! I know the alternatives aren’t... Exactly the best. But we hardly know each other!”
Saying that Selene was surprised by Naru’s response would’ve been a massive understatement. Right now, she had no idea what to think about the Pikachu’s proposal. It just... came out of nowhere to her.
Selene has appeared! What to do?
Propose
Kill
Punish
Ravish
{Selene}
“I… I’ll be fine!” She pulled her ears down, just trying to calm down as her heart began to beat faster, unable to stop her aura. It was threatening to break the shackles Arceus had placed on her, even though it couldn’t. It hurt her like hell when it tried, though. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she thought about her trainer… How she missed her so, so much…
“My aura… it’s done this… before…”
[⚡] From where he was standing, it sure didn’t look like Selene was going to be fine. It looked like she was in pain. And a lot of it too. Naru didn’t know what he could do to fix that, but the Pikachu stepped closer to the fox, pulling the Eevee into a hug. This was the best thing that he could think of to do for her. He hoped it would help calm her down enough for the strange aura to die down and for her to collect herself.

She gave a nod. Naru… She’d have to keep that in mind. Letting out a sigh, she gave a nod in response to his question, tears forming in her eyes. “… … Y- yea… You could say that… It was nice before the accident…”
She slowly began losing control of her emotions. So much negativity was attached to her memory of the accident… Her corrupted aura began to surround her body, and she couldn’t stop it.
[⚡] His ears perked up instantly at that. An accident..? She and her human partner were in an accident? It must have been pretty bad considering the Eevee was starting to cry. He felt bad for asking. He hadn’t meant to make the fox so upset like this.
His eyes widened in surprise as he saw the corrupted aqua begin to surround her body. What in the world was that? Naru had never seen such a thing before.
“S-Selene, are you okay?” the Pikachu squeaked out in fear, though he reached out a paw to help her. Though he had no idea how he would be able to do that, but the young detective would try his best.
“I... I’ll be fine!” She pulled her ears down, just trying to calm down as her heart began to beat faster, unable to stop her aura. {Selene}
Her ear twitched. He wasn’t going to reprimand her like many others had…? That… That was relieving to hear. She let out a sigh of relief before she gave him a small smile, dumping the crumbs into her mouth. Had to get all she could, after all. She then looked back at him.
“I’m Selene, formerly a trained Pokemon.”.
[⚡] He could see the small bit of surprise on the Eevee’s face at his words. Did she really think he was going to nag her about something like stealing? While it was wrong, sometimes it couldn’t be helped. Such was the case with her. He couldn’t fault her for needing to survive. Times were tough after all.
“Nice to meet you, Selene. I’m Naru.” He scratched an ear curiously. “So does that mean you were someone’s partner Pokemon at one point?”
She gave a nod. Naru... She’d have to keep that in mind. Letting out a sigh, she gave a nod in response to his question, tears forming in her eyes. “... ... Y- yea... You could say that... It was nice before the accident...”

She looked at the crumbs on her paw, thinking about how to word it. She couldn’t just outright say she stole it. But at the same time, she didn’t feel like coming up with another elaborate web of lies. “I was running from the guy I… procured… this bread from.”
Before he could even answer, she said, out of sheer habit. “Before you even say it, I have to do what I have to in order to survive.”
[⚡] The Pikachu put his paws up at her retort. So she had stolen the food. That meant she was a thief. Did that mean he had to do something about this? He didn’t think so. He was a detective, not a cop. So he could let it slide.
“Relax, I wasn’t going to say anything… Um, what’s your name?”
Her ear twitched. He wasn’t going to reprimand her like many others had...? That... That was relieving to hear. She let out a sigh of relief before she gave him a small smile, dumping the crumbs into her mouth. Had to get all she could, after all. She then looked back at him.

Selene nodded, holding out a piece of her stolen meal, a piece of bread as she chomped down on her piece. She thought she may as well repay the favor since she was the one that crashed into him. Sides, she hoped that she’d finally lost whoever she stole it from.
“Yea, I’m fine. Been to hell and back, after all. Here, for me running into you.”
[⚡] That was good. He was glad to see that the Eevee wasn’t hurt from their run-in with each other. The Pikachu sat up, fixing his Sherlock-like hat. If he was going to be a detective like his idol, he wanted to look the part. And from what he understood, all detectives wore a hat.
Naru blinked once the piece of food was offered to him. He took the bit of bread, taking a bite out of it himself. He did wonder what she had been running from to make her crash into him as such high speeds. He tilted his head to one side slightly at that however.
“Thanks. What were you running from anyway?” he asked, hoping that he too lost the Pokemon that were chasing him.
She looked at the crumbs on her paw, thinking about how to word it. She couldn’t just outright say she stole it. But at the same time, she didn’t feel like coming up with another elaborate web of lies. “I was running from the guy I... procured... this bread from.”

A good distance away from the Pokemon, another Pokemon crashed into him, coming out of the bushes and leaving him little time to react. The impact sent the two of them flying, the Pokemon that ran into him flying a bit further before spinning on the ground a bit, groaning. “O… ow…” She eventually got up, looking at him. She picked up the food she’d been carrying, having stolen it from another Pokemon before padding over to Naru.
“Y- you okay?… Agh… I didn’t mean to ram into you like that.”
[⚡] The Pikachu just briefly caught sight of another Pokemon out of the corner of his vision before he was crashed into, sent flying through the sky, before coming to a painful landing back on the ground with a yelp. That sure hurt alright. Naru looked up to see an Eevee approaching him, no doubt being the one to have ran into him like that.
“Y-Yeah, I’m alright,” the junior detective answered her. “It’s okay… Are you alright? You’re not hurt or anything are you?”
Selene nodded, holding out a piece of her stolen meal, a piece of bread as she chomped down on her piece. She thought she may as well repay the favor since she was the one that crashed into him. Sides, she hoped that she’d finally lost whoever she stole it from.

@moonxvee wanted a starter
[⚡] Naru knew this job wasn’t going to be easy. Being a detective would no doubt be rather difficult. The Pikachu had wanted to be a detective ever since he had heard about what went down in Rhyme City. It had been nearly a world-wide event and it went without saying that others across the world would hear about it.
The small mouse had wanted to do something like that as well. The others in his clan never did held high expectations of him to begin with. He wasn’t the strongest Pikachu at all and would run at the first sign of danger if he could. It was a mystery in and of itself as to why he would ever want to become a detective. It didn’t seem like him at all. But it was something that he was dead set on doing and he would too.
..Even if it took him awhile. And it was certainly starting to look that way. But he was sure it would pay off in the end. It had to right?
As of right now, Naru had stumbled across a group of wild Pokemon that weren’t too pleased that the Pikachu was on their territory. Because of that, he had bolted, fleeing to escape before things got deadly.
