And... done. The re-write for Dire Desires is complete. it added a startling 25000 words. including a whole bunch of world building and new skills and characterisations. Sera’s stomach twisted—but she couldn’t look away.

There was nothing accidental in the way he moved. No clumsy thrusting. No mindless rut. The control was almost worse. The slap of contact echoed through the chamber, answered by a breath-torn “Ahh” of pleasure. Flesh struck flesh in a cadence that felt less like coupling and more like proclamation. Its heavy balls struck against her in a strange counter-rhythm—deeper, heavier—a deeper percussion beneath the sharper report of their joining. Claim. Answer. Claim again.

It’s been longer than I wanted.

Coming off being a habitual drinker has made writing harder than it had any right to be—not because the ideas weren’t there, but because sitting still with them again took time. I’m doing that work now. Slowly, stubbornly, properly.

A lore drop will follow in the coming weeks, digging into who—and what—the Dire Wolves of Wolfspring actually are, and why their existence is stranger and more deliberate than it first appears.
