"I'm not one for confessions."
Deeper Underground (Closed Rp)
"Well unfortunately, the hardest part about this is having everyone come out unscathed. It just doesn't happen that way. There have to be some casualties along the way and that is a sacrifice I am willing to take." He said with a morbid lowness to his voice "It's hard to take the determination out of something without destroying it completely. A full soul collapse is very common in those circumstances. Quite a waste when it happens truely. It's a very delicate process to say the least but fortunately I have a lot of time to kill." He continued, looking to her. He didn't really seem to have his heart and mind in the right place as he was speaking. At least for the most part. He did want to free the monsters from the underground but the casualties weren't really in his mind at that point.

Gaster was wandering about in the labs, gathering up various things for a project he had been working on for quite a while now. It was going to be grand, the pinnacle of his work. He could barely wait until he was finished.
It would be the thing to free them all.
But in the meantime, he would have to tweak some thing in the peace and quiet of his lab just by himself. Or at least he thought so as he shuffled down the long halls.
It was curiosity and her goal to try and find an alternative out of the underground that brought her to Hotland. Â Hotland did indeed fit its name the soldering heat was enough to make the human almost melt she couldnât imagine any place hotter on the surface. Â She wiped a bead of sweat from her forehead and drank a few sips of water from her water bottle.
She had heard rumors of a royal scientist she hoped she could ask them for help. Â The redhead had approached a large set of doors they were made of hard metal. She noticed a buzzer like a doorbell she pressed the button. She spoke in the speakerÂ
âHello, I am here to see the Royal Scientist, my name is Elena I fell fro  te surface.â
Gaster would pause as a voice rang through the intercom, catching his attention. He heard the brief introduction and decided to make his way up to the entrance. He opened the door to the entrance, his backlit appearance being a bit menacing. He tilted his head a little before speaking,
âI suppose you were looking for me?â He said lowly âHow can I assist?â
As the large metal doors opened, a tall monster appeared before her. The way he looked with the dark opening of the door looked ominous. His voice was calm, but something about it sent shivers up Elenaâs spine. The redhead nodded âYes, Iâm sorry to bother you, sir, Iâm sure you very busy, but I was hoping to ask you a few questions.â
Gaster would pause momentarily to gaze at the other before nodding slowly, moving out of the way to let the other into the lab.
âWell I have time to spare. Please, come inside I could imagine it would be important if youâre coming to me about it. Not to mention the scorching heat.â He hummed, gesturing to the inside of the lab.
Elena walked in thankful for the scientistâs hospitality she walked in keeping a light pace making sure not to wander too far ahead. Â The cold air of the lab was refreshing she was thankfully more than ever for air conditioning. Â She smiled softlyÂ
âThank you; it was very humid out there itâs a lot different than what Iâm used to, but Iâll be ok.â When she had entered the central lab with him, she focused her attention on him. âI donât know if its possible but I was wondering if there is another way out of the underground.â
Gaster would ponder the question after closing the front door behind himself. He shrugged a little, closing his eyes
âIn all honesty, Iâm not sure. Besides the way you came from and the exit in the kings domain, I donât know of any other exits. And I have looked pretty thoroughly I promise. Though I do have some ideas on how to break the barrier without any bloodshed but it is taking quite a bit of work to say the least.â He replied, gesturing a bit. âMy assistant hasnât been much help as of late as she thinks itâs morally wrong.â
Elena stood silent for a moment though this was disappointing news she still had hope. The barrier could only be open with a soul, and there was no way sheâd kill anyone.  She couldnât imagine the countless hours that the scientist had spent trying to find a way out she felt sympathy for him.  She spoke gently âIâm so sorry I can imagine that this has been difficult I admire you for your dedication.â What made the redhead uneasy was the morality issue what did he mean by that.  "Morality⊠what do you mean, is this dangerous orâŠ?â
"Well, yes to say the least it is quite dangerous work. And there are some risky procedures I have been conducting... unfortunately enough, some other monsters had to be involved, including some of my previous assistants. That's why one of the only assistants that are left refuses to help me. I don't intend for them to get swept up in it, just some things can't be avoided...." he answered, pressing his fingers together.
hey can u help me with my multiverses version of gaster?(i.e my dad) hes actually turning into a cheese block literally. and yes i am a human... lol
"That's... quite strange to say the least? But I suppose I can see what I can do...."

Light of the Waterfall (Closed Rp)

Gaster had started to wander around after a fairly long working period. He seemed a bit tired but the fresh air seemed to be helping as he made his way to the Waterfall. The heat of Hotland was not helping him in the slightest so reaching a cooler area helped immensely. He shoved his hands in his pockets with the familiar jingle of his keys to his lab as well as a pen and a little note book.
Not to far from which the doctor stood, small, yellow sunflower sprouts out from the ground. Yet, it has a face with a false pink blush, eyelashes and red eyes. It had a board expression on itâs seeming face, having done things over and over so far in this âtimeline.â It then seeâs the doctor close by, quietly sighing. Time to try to make friends again, hopefully with some satisfaction this time. It barrows into the ground, soon popping up closer to him at his feet. It looked up to him, looking joyful.
Gaster froze up for a moment, looking at the flower at his feet. He tilted his head, raising an eyebrow at such a being.
âWell uh I suppose soâŠâ he said lowly âBut I do well on my own.â
He kind of bent down to at least relatively the others level.
The Flower cocked itâs head slightly, but just for a quick moment. Same as last time so far.
âSunnyâ bobs slightly, putting some âlifeâ into their stance.
"Well I am Gaster... uh... a scientist over in Hotland." He replied, rubbing the back of his neck. "I'm not opposed to having some company so I won't object to you joining me."
He gestured a little bit to Sunny before mentioning "I haven't seen anyone around here like you before and I know most anybody in the underground."

Gaster raised an eyebrow, clasping his hands in front of himself.
âWell Iâd like to believe this place is real in some aspects. Though I do understand that itâs quite nightmarish. And the fact that nothing lasts forever. But for right now, youâre here and thereâs not much you can do about it.â He said with a small tilt of his head. âItâs strange, I havenât a human like you before. But then again, I havenât seen many humans at all.â
He took a few steps closer to her, resting his hands to his sides again. He sighed, looking the other over as he leaned back against the railing.
The albino didnât move as he approached. In fact, she just stood there as he approached slightly with a blank, if not emotionless look in her sapphire hues.
A creepy if not gentle look to her that reflects her sickly soul. She was in pain but refused to show it as this was her mask..
đ âș âA society of chaos and disorder. Several are subjects to prejudice, betrayal, murder, hatred, anger, the list could carry on..â she answered. âWeâre all Fateâs pawns and several like myself question: what is Life? What does it mean? Is it all fabricated to test our sanity let alone to see how much self-worth we have? Actually, why should I care about these things lest it would only result in future tragedy?â
âThese are quite the heavy questions but unfortunately, I donât know the answer. I was not expecting a philosophical conversation up here.â He said with a shrug âThough I suppose it is not an unwanted discussion.â
He turned his head to the core for a moment with a squint.
âI wasnât quite needing an existential crisis right now but I suppose whatever works.â
She looked down a bit as she replied, â Youâre not like the others.. patient, calming, down-to-earth, understanding, not quick to judge..maybe thatâs why I have an emotional attachment towards adults who are like that. They understand better..â
Maybe thatâs why she was close to her mom. Albeit, despite the somber voice, there was a longing even in her sickly SOUL.
Emptiness..
Gaster raised an eyebrow, tilting his head as his gaze returned to her. "Well I suppose I am glad that I could be of some comfort to you." He replied in a low gebtle voice "I suppose I'm one of the few monsters that wouldn't want to flat out kill you on the spot." He continued, gesturing with his hand.

Gaster had decided to come up from his lab for a break. After all, itâs hard to work with no breaks. So he ventured out to the platform that was in view of the core. He watched the heat rise from the lava below. He seemed to be spacing out so he wouldnât really notice anyone else being there. So he just sat and watched as the light moved and listened to the gentle whirring of the core.
Cue the steps of a child echoing down the hallway and looking about her surroundings. This place looks odd though, itâs hard to tell if she cared or not because of the emotionless look in her eyes as her long albino hair was flowing while she was walking about. If anything, cameras were following her as she was making her way through this place; though she wasnât paying any care to them.
This endless maze of hallways..
However, it wouldnât be long before she saw someone of familiarity in the distance, not even knowing that they were there, but wait.. The female then froze in place, narrowed her eyes and thought over something: could this be the same monster she saw in Waterfall, if not twice? After all, that place was already a mystery in itself.
The Underground had itâs fair share of secrets that she doesnât know..not yet..
Though instead of leaving, her curiosity piqued her as she tilted her head while clasping her hands together, just as the heat of the outside CORE seeped in, embracing her skin and clothes with its warmth.
đ âș â..hello?â she asked meekly to the other.
Normal kids would run for their dear life, she didnât.
Gaster was quickly snapped from his daze from the sound of the others voice. He gripped the railing for a moment before turning around to the child. He looked surprised before he tried to keep his shocked expression toned down to a more dull and confused expression.
âWhat are you doing here? Itâs dangerous for someone like yourself to be here you know. This place is quite the trap.â He said lowly. âI wasnât quite sure youâd make it this farâŠâ
She looked away a bit as her sapphire hues shifted from the other. âItâs not anyone else would care..â
Her injuries on her hands would say otherwise. Several has scars from the past that had been patched up and healed, but her voice, the amount of monotone in it..bitterly disturbing.
đ âș â..Iâm just living in a nightmare. I know that that Iâll wake up soon. After all, nothing lasts forever.â
This child. The aria of somberness she carries, but with being a sickly SOUL, itâs expected.
Gaster raised an eyebrow, clasping his hands in front of himself.
