I’m assuming Mordred found the spell that Morgan cast to produce her and “conceived” her sons the same way. Like Artoria and Guinevere, Mordred found a Mage to call her “wife”, Cwyllog, and the two came to an agreement. Cwyllog, who was a member of the Church, wanted to bear children, while Mordred wanted to produce children, likely imitating her father and wanting to have heirs. And so, Mordred’s rebellion persisted even after her death through her sons.

“What do you mean, I can’t come?!”

Any time the Master refused to bring along the vocal Saber on quests, Chaldea shook from her childish wrath. It hadn’t mattered how logical the reason was―”Sabers aren’t suited for this quest, Mordred!”―for her reactions were always the same. A lot of violence, a lot of yelling, a lot of defiance. Mordred was so sure that she could take on anything; strategy wasn’t her specialty. Most days, it wasn’t worth trying to explain to her, and it was better just to wait out her tantrum.

When Rider had approached her, she was pacing in the halls, kicking the walls, and grumbling to herself. It was probably twenty minutes of her incessantly whining venting to him with his polite nodding and occasional comments (mostly because she left little room for him to speak during her ranting) until a more proper conversation began.

“Take care of yourself, Rider,” she said, staring up at him.

Neither of them enjoyed worrying; perhaps it was because they were both very sure of their strength, and in the case of the infamous Achilles, of his immortality. Still, Saber wasn’t about to ever stop worrying about him. There were many Servants in Chaldea though; the Master couldn’t bring all of them... even if she did hate being left out on all the action.

After a few seconds of silence, her brow furrowed as her face turned red. “What, do I need a step ladder or what?! Get down here already!” As per tradition by now, she was lifted into his arms to share a kiss, despite her hostility. “I better see you again soon, Carrot Top.”
