I think your idea is fun but I was a bit nervous to do it because I don’t know how to draw comic style art so instead it’s just a few pictures next to each other with my thoughts on the side.

I’ve never drawn anyone pregnant before either so it was a good challenge. It seems in the 19th century a slanted kind of style was popular like this :　「/」

I think it’s cute but I feel like it’s a bit hard to tell because the way I drew it.

it might be a frequency illusion, but now that @abybweisse mentioned the infinity symbol in the mourning locket with cloudia’s hair, i can’t shake the feeling that the similarity to the number 8 was deliberately chosen in the phantomhive name.

@funeralroseparade noticed that the number 8 appears in the number of people going on missions in the current arc, the number of participants in the spring of tales, the fact that modri drew the number 8, the 8-pointed star symbol of the exorcists, and that there were 8 first-string members in the circus.

maybe it’s a coincidence and confirmation bias. maybe yana just really likes the number 8. or maybe she’s deliberately weaving in this number and hinting at something specific that will only be revealed later.
