Complete list of which coach and singer won at the end of every season of The Voice.
Todd Tilghman & Blake Shelton Press Conference | The Voice Season 18 Finale
Whew I was worried for a bit there, I thought Gwenâs going to get smacked by Blakeâs giant hand lol. Happy for them, what a season and not just that what a time this has been. The pandemic is horrible but the lock down situation must have change how people view their live, positively or negatively. It looks like the former for Blake.
Yes, itâs horrible the pandemic had to happen. But itâs wonderful that they were able to have a positive experience with their families during it. Youâre right, it has probably changed a lot of peopleâs perspectives on their lives, what they think is important and learning these things may change how they will proceed after itâs behind them.
Do you think we will ever know who was #2 and who was #3? It doesnât seem fair to the #2 person not be able to celebrate that with the fans who voted for them.
Yeah, it was weird. I donât know. Carson will talk about the whole thing on the Today Show tomorrow. I wonder if they will mention it. Or maybe it was so close theyâll call it a tie đ¤

Todd Tilghman â the first person to audition this season â outlasted everyone and was crowned "The Voice" winner during the first-ever remote finale.
Blake Shelton is back on top.
Todd Tilghman â who was the first person to audition on this season of âThe Voice" â outlasted everyone and was crowned the Season 18 winner during the first-ever remote finale.
Tilghman was surrounded by his wife of 21-years and their eight children in Mississippi as host Carson Daly named him the winner. He said Sheltonâs support has "meant the world to me in all of this.â
Streamers fell on Shelton, who tuned in safely from Oklahoma with his family. The country crooner got something sweeter than a trophy â a congratulatory kiss from girlfriend Gwen Stefani.
Despite technical difficulties with Sheltonâs microphone, âThe Voiceâ effortlessly combined 21 livestreams from around the nation into one seamless finale after the coronavirus pandemic forced the NBC singing competition to go remote over safety concerns.Â
Tilghmanâs win makes Shelton, the last original coach on the NBC singing competition, the undisputed champ. Already the winningest coach in the showâs history, Shelton now has seven wins under his cowboy belt.Â
Tilghman, a Mississippi pastor, earned four chair-turns during the Blind Auditions with his emotional rendition of Bob Segerâs âWeâve Got Tonight.â
Kelly Clarkson, Nick Jonas and John Legend all appealed to Tilghmanâs roots with their church backgrounds, but he ultimately went with Shelton as his coach.Â
âI love your voice. I love the passion. I love the range. ⌠I love the hop,â Shelton said before labeling his praise dance the âHoly Hop.â âI think Todd is special and I wouldnât be surprised to see him in the finals. Heâs got a great voice and a lot of drive.â
Turns out, Shelton knows what heâs talking about.
When the votes were tallied, Toneisha Harris (Shelton) and Thunderstorm Artis (Nick Jonas) rounded out the Top 3; CammWess (John Legend) came in fourth place and Micah Iverson (Kelly Clarkson) in fifth place.Â
The two-hour season finale was more like a concert, with virtual guest performances and post-competition duets with the Top 5 and their coaches.
Tilghman looked right at home alongside Shelton while performing John Mellencampâs âAuthority Song,â while Artis and Jonas dedicated a cover of Phil Collinsâ âYouâll Be In My Heartâ to all health-care workers battling COVID-19.Â
CammWess and Legend tore the house down with a powerful rendition of Elton John's âRocket Man.â Clarkson and Iverson teamed up for Lady Antebellum's "I Run to You.â
Harris and Shelton jammed out to "Donât Stopâ by Fleetwood Mac, symbolizing her journey on âThe Voiceâ after returning nearly a decade after she was originally supposed to audition for Season 2.Â
That was not the only performances of the night for the coaches. Jonas joined brothers Joe and Kevin for a virtual performance of the Jonas Brothersâ new reggaeton-inspired single âX.â He also debuted his song "Until We Meet Again.â
Shelton performed his No. 1 single "Nobody But You" with Stefani for Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma; Legend sang "All of Meâ for the nursing staff at Los Angelesâ St. Francis Medical Center; and Clarkson performed her new multilingual single âI Dare You,â which includes lyrics in six languages.Â
Fan-favorite contestants from âThe Voice," including reigning champ Jake Hoot, Kevin Farris, Lauren Duski, Jacob Maxwell, Alexa Cappelli, Mike Jerel, Ricky Duran and Brition Buchanan, spread hope with a joint performance of "What the World Needs Now Is Love.â
Jon Bon Jovi looked cooler than a cucumber while sipping from a red solo cup before Bon Jovi performed âLimitless."Â Other guest performances included Lady Antebellumâs "Champagne Night.â
Although the finale is âunlike any weâve ever done,â Daly said, âthe excitement is more.â
Legend added: âWe had some adversity this year, but we got to run this show in a brand new format and I donât think Blake even wants to leave Oklahoma anymore if we can do it like this.â
Itâs like this every season. Announce winners net. Cut to credits. Iâm glad they didnât do the 3rd, 2nd place announcement. Some how itâs sadder when they are there with the family and they get cut. Tonesha & Tstorm are both so talented. IDK. But happy for Todd. Great performances all season. Happy for Blake. So sweet to see the fam with him. Wish we could have heard his comments at the end but thatâs live remote tv folks. Great season.
Yep - it was too bad for Todd & Toneisha. Anyway itâs fine not to know 2nd & 3rd - tbh I would have been fine with any of the 4 - Todd/Toneisha/TStorm/Cammwess winning. I liked Micah but I just didnât feel he was in the same league as the others - still really enjoyed him though. Just a great group & excellent season! đđ˝đđ
Dang those technical issues with Blakeâs video feed đĄ So annoying! I so badly want to see their celebration not blurry.
I know - it was really too bad!
We dint know, not sure if they were just out of time or because Blake got 1&2
It never fails - they spend 1:59 getting to the winner & then cut it off immediately afterwards. Like why? Why not at least spend 2 minutes with a little celebration? I donât complain much but thatâs my complaint, season after season....
Um so do we know who got second? Or did they not want to say because Team Blake went 1-2? đ§
We Won
