This was my very first music purchase.
I remember it vividly, my mom sent me to the gas station to buy whatever and I bought this cassette from a weird music wall.
Crush develops
The cassette had an insert that folded out into this picture that went up on my wall. I think the other side had the lyrics to the songs, can’t quite recall - could have just been song credits.
For some reason I have clear memories of listening to this in my basement while working on my cross over, during a LA Lakers game played on TV.
Strange what the memory holds.

Fab’s gotta be one of the most consistent artists with R&B features in the past two decades.
I tried to grab features that weren’t his most popular or directly by him (he’s no stranger to having solid R&B artists featured on his tracks either, but I excluded most of those).
I also tried to stick to older stuff but I don’t want to ignore the newer music completely, so you’ll find some newer(ish) songs in this playlist I created.
I didn’t realize Tumblr only allows 5 videos to be attached to a post, which is probably a good thing… considering I came back to post a 75 song playlist on YouTube I compiled.

Who holds the crown for R&B features?
I started to think back about which artist stood out to me that was featured on a lot of R&B tracks.
Initially I was going to make a top 10 list or something, but after looking at one artist in mind I figured it would be best to make separate entries since It’ll be hard to decide on a clear winner.
Though I’ll start strong in the next post.
Any rappers you feel that will have to be on this sort of list? Let me know and we can discuss it!

I think I skipped over Goodbye & Good riddance when it came out, this inspired me to check it out.
Before I get to more tunes, I had to do some research on the robotic dog. It’s called “Aibo” and the first picture was Sony’s first gen Aibo.
I saw the first gen on Amazon for $8900,00 (YIKES)
The second picture is their latest 2018 edition… which has a SIM card slot for LTE connectivity (+cloud compatibility for new tricks?) and has AI to assist it with learning.

I’ve had this song stuck in my head for the last few days, had to check out the video for old times sake.
