Being in Washington, wasn’t the same as Seattle. Back home, she had a wife and daughter she could talk to but here, she had to call her wife and cry over the phone. She had been at the hospital, having a break from a surgery before going into another one when she had gotten a call from a man claiming to be her brother, someone of whom she could have sworn had died many years ago, the same brother she had watched being unloaded and to hear that he was alive — well that just scared the crap out of her. She had been given the number and address of a business that if it were true, they’d get to the bottom of it and right now, that’s exactly what the blonde needed.
She had a break between surgeries so the blonde quickly grabbed her keys and went for a drive in search of the office. she was seated in the car, taking a few deep breaths before she jumped out and walked inside. She knocked, but didn’t hear anything so she entered and came face to face with the woman. She watched the other woman look her up and down, making Arizona feel slightly unconscious so she pulled down her scrubs pant leg slightly so her prosthetic leg wasn’t showing before chuckling in response “I’m hear because I killed someone and need help cleaning it up.” she deadpanned before shaking her head as she slipped off her labcoat “I’m kidding, I could never kill someone, I save tiny humans. I’ve just come from surgery and someone gave me the card and..” she said softly as she trailed off before taking in a few deep breaths before talking “I need help finding my brother — he went missing in action a decade ago, then today I got a phone call from someone claiming to be my brother — knowing so many details – saying he was my brother and he was alive but he didn’t want to see me — but I need to see him. I need to find him to see if it’s my brother or someone making a prank call.”
Oddball clients floated in often, looking for help out of a fittingly odd situation. This woman was no exception. Features contorted at the murder comment. Quinn wasn't afraid to turn people away, especially when they were psychos who needed a crime scene erased -- not that Quinn was above killing for purpose. Her mind immediately began jumping to assumptions such as this woman was a doctor, she's probably accidentally killed people before. When the blonde began to speak again and explain the real situation, a small sigh of relief was released. Thank god she wasn't a kiddie killer.
Quinn listen attentively as she pieced together the story. It was certainly a unique case. Her legs carried her to the laptop on the office table where she sat to begin the usual process. "Okay, give me your phone. I'm gonna trace the location of where the call was made by seeing what cell towers picked up the signal. Even if the call was made anonymously, I should still be able to get the location. Do you have any idea where your brother might be if he is alive? Hometown, or maybe any particular place he talked about visiting?" And with that, the brunette held out her hand, waiting for the phone to be given to her.
