i didn’t have anyone to tell, so i’m dumping this here-

dropping my headcanon.

the group - Shawna, Timmy, Timmy’s friend (idk, how i can call him), Bradley n Kevin would always link up to play D&D. most of the time it was at Timmy’s place, just ‘cause it was just the easiest spot. especially after he kept getting grounded n put on luckdown. at the point, he was basically doing everything out of pure spite - his parent had already stopped caring.

they were super into tabletop games, but everyone had their own thing.

Shawna was all about Fate

Timmy was a Shadowrun

Timmy’s friend swore by Starfinder

Bradley stuck with classic D&D

n Kevin.. dude has zero clue what was happening.

they’d take turn running the game and yeah, it was never peaceful — lots of arguing, sometimes even throwing bags over whose turn it was. likee.. when it was Shawna turn, she’s DM n run the whole session.

Kevin was stupid lucky, though. his d20 literally never rolled under a 13. it drove everyone insane. people would straight-op call him a cheater n just nuke the whole session. Timmy n Shawna got the most pissed - they were sweaty as hell n needed the win.

even if nobody really liked waiting for someone else’s turn, everyone lowkey loving it when Bradley was DMing. he went hard on the roleplay, built up this crazy tension, then just cut it of outta nowhere, leaving everyone emit wrecked. it made people wanna dive back in even harder, just to chase that forbidden W n finally win.

Bradley also had to fight for his life not to laugh whenever someone set their passive perception above 13.
