I am a Pittsburgh native currently attending Indiana University of PA for studio art with a focus in graphic design and illustration.

Branding for kitchen supply company I created from scratch in my intermediate graphic design class. Moe's combines practicality and simplicity so that anyone can make the food they love for the people they love.

My lovely friend/model Alex helped me out with a some photography the other day. It was the first time in a while I set out with a model to shoot. I was seriously interested in photography from junior high through senior year of high school but decided on IUP for the Studio Art program, which unfortunately does not explicitly involve photography. My focus started going towards drawing and graphic design. I picked up with photojournalism at the school paper last semester and really enjoyed working with a camera again. I declared my minor in Communications Media and have started my first couple of classes this semester. This was for the very first project to introduce us to composition. Hopefully lots more work to come this year! Stay tuned.

This is just something I whipped up real quick for my brother's band playing at the Smiling Moose this week. It's fairly serene given their more alt rock/punk vibe but I think there's something creepy about the casualness of the figures considering the get up they are wearing and how did they jump to that rock?

Haiku projects from this past semester at school.

The first piece was a one hour class exercise using only typography.

The bottom two haikus were selected from a packet of Matsu Basho's we were given and these are a couple of my favorites from the final collection.

Work I did for my final in my Intermediate Graphic Design class focused on layout and typography. The Antlers have a new album coming out and I'm getting pretttyyyy excited. The first photo is the cover, middle would be the inside to pages of a booklet and the third is tray card for a jewel case.  I also submitted it for a contest for them on Creative Allies if you would like to vote for me! My one year anniversary of me learning how to digitally paint is coming up!  This is the very first thing we did in class last summer. I remember absolutely hating using the tablet. So glad that's changed!
