How can I submit pictures?

Hey, great question, thanks for asking!On the Morgantown Street Art page, there is a tab right under the description that says “submit”. When you click on it and get to the submission page, you have to click the drop down bar at the top left of the text box and select “photo”. From there, you can click the area that used to be the text box and attach a photo! The area underneath includes space for a caption, and I encourage everyone who submits to write a little bit about where the art can be found.Unfortunately, by using this process, you can only attach one photo at a time. If you have more than one photo, I understand that submission can become a lengthy process. But I sincerely hope that you will send your submissions anyway! If there is another kind of page layout or customizable option which allows multiple photos to be submitted in one post, I’d love to hear about it.Thanks so much for your interest, I hope to see some submissions soon! :)

Hello, my name is Jack Baronner and Im doing a story for the Journalism school here at wvu about street art. I wasn't sure if this account is still very active but I thought I would try anyways. I just wanted to ask a few questions so I could get an idea of the significance of street art here in Morgantown. I actually know a street artist here and would like to know more about it for the story.

I'm sure there's a good explanation, but I miss this project's progress. I hope all is well.

I miss working on this blog, too, but there are a couple of explanations:1) Photography during the winter time is more difficult because of the limited daylight, the dreary weather that blocks out the light, and because being cold sucks.2) I am a student at WVU and this semester is much more intense than I expected it to be, which is my own fault.Thanks for your interest, though, and I promise I will be putting photos up in about two weeks because that's when Spring Break is. Keep your faith, I promise I have some awesome photos and ideas coming! :)

I've seen that stenciled kitten that you found on the parking garage of pleasant st in other places around town recently. There's one on a pedestrian crossing (i think) sign on beechurst near the bottom of Hough St/PRT station area, as well as on the evensdale campus on a yellow sign on the right after you pass the CAC going up the hill. There is also one on Greenbag RD on the arrow sign across the road from morgantown printing and binding.

I have been seeing this stencil in more and more places as well! I love it!Thanks for the tips! I'm going to try to collect all the places together and make a photo set of the cat stencil in various places. Like a "cat compilation" or something. Hopefully, it will look great.I appreciate the suggestion! I'll definitely look for more.

Hey, I'm not sure if you're still doing this project, but a bunch of new stuff showed up on a trailer across the Rail Trail behind Lavender Cafe. At least, I hadn't seen it before. It included a massive spray-painted face of the person who has been doing the Post Office stickers.

Thanks for the tip! I already have pictures of this art, and have had it for two or three weeks now. The only reason I haven't uploaded them is because testing has picked up at WVU (I confess to being a student!) and I've been studying. Expect pictures soon, though! They look great. :)Keep letting me know if there's things you want to see!

I liked the contrast between (what I believe to be) the "Anarcho-punk Circle-A", as Wikipedia calls it, and the hearts drawn right next to it. I can't tell if the hearts were drawn in chalk or made by more permanent means, but I hope they stay there.

This wall is the side of some building that sits where Chestnut and Fayette streets intersect. I think.

At first I thought this was supposed to be some kind of evil eye sort of thing, but the more I look at it, the more I think it's really just an avocado.

This is on top of what I believe to be the autobody shop on Beechurst, but it may be the building next to that. Also, sorry about the sky being bleached out, but the sun is just behind the yellowish-white building to the left, so I couldn't do much to fix the color.

A stop sign with the full boom-box sticker on it. It has twins all over the city and you can find them pretty easily. There's also a large-scale version of it on a dumpster outside of the Sunnyside Superette. The green sticker obviously says "KUSH", but the finer print underneath of it says something to the effect of "Kush Friendly", which is a pretty accurate description of Morgantown. This sticker, however, is on Chestnut Street, towards the top where it meets Willey Street. I can't remember the exact intersection.

This is on the back of a sign across from White Hall on Willey Street. In the background, from right to left, is a Sorority house, a church, and a co-ed house for a campus religious group (I think). The tall brick building behind the sorority house is Hodges Hall, and the tall grey building in the very background of the picture is the Engineering Science Building on the Evansdale campus.
