Hey so I don’t know if you check your tumblr, but do you have any Rusame doodles from your book or just any doodles of anything at all? Also quick question, could you kinda tell about North and South Korea’s relationship? I remember back during truth or dare they seemed kinda distant (for obvious reasons, but could you explain in detail? I just really love those guys)
Yeah, I keep meaning to come back to this app, but hey if someone is still interested I can use that for motivation. I have a lot of sketches, concept sketches for chapters and just random countryhuman doodles I do. I can totally post that stuff if you want.
As for SK and NK, they are tricky. When they were younger they were very close, NK being naturally more "mature" and protective of his brother while SK always did anything he could to make him smile and feel better when he was down. After their mother died, Soviet took him under his wing while America took SK under his. The death of their mother caused them to grow up fast, the concept of growth and age is different than what regular humans have and that's why a country that could be years older than another can be considered "younger". SK still wanted a connection with his brother and sought after him but NK started to push him away. I think I tie it into him not wanting to be too close to anybody anymore, or him just reminding him of his mother so he fights him to be rid of him altogether and then America and Soviet get involved and leave everything at a standstill. NK has a better grip on his negative emotions and his need to act out and can now live with SK in what is the closest to harmony that they can get right now. SK really wants to have his brother back and drags him to events, has him hang out with him as he plays video games and has him eat with him. So far the only time they both are like brothers again is when they are playing video games where they are fighting against each other and NK keeps giving him strategizing tips, but ultimately usually has the upper hand by doing the opposite of what tips he gives him. In the end, it doesn't matter who won cause at the moment everything doesn't matter except for the fun. But those moments are short last and NK goes back to his reclusive self. He misses how things were too but knows that it can't go back to that anymore. There was too much bad to make anything good. SK knows he thinks this and basically doesn't give a shit and continues to try and reinstate the bond they once had. That's what I have for them right now between them. As for themselves personally and how they act and who they like is gonna take a whole other post to explain xD yeah I guess I try to go deep into these characters so I dont do anything out of their character.
