Event: Slashers (Carrie)
It was no secret that the Princess of Hell was a laughingstock. Nobody believed in her, in redemption... not even her own father. But finally, she found a glimmer of hope, when Katie Killjoy invited her back onto the show to discuss her project in full.
She was overjoyed! Practically buzzing, she invited you! She had also invited Vaggie, Husk, Alastor, Niffty, Angel Dust, Cherri... but each had their own plans, with the exception of one familiar "this face was made for radio". But that did nothing to dull her excitement!
As she stepped into the frame, she sat down at the chair with you behind the scenes to cheer her on and act as emotional support, clutching her script close. She had barely gotten out a full sentence. when it happened. "Hello, everyone! I'm Charlie Morningstar, and I'm back to discuss the Hazbin Hotel and my plans for redemptio-"
SPLAT!
The Princess found herself soaked in blood, her eyes widening with shock and horror, along with clear revulsion. She looked like she would either pass out or throw up, and Katie Killjoy began laughing. Laughing at her.
Tears fell down Charlie's face as she fought to keep her composure, but you, frozen in horror, could see her slowly breaking down... as Katie Killjoy began broadcasting her humiliation over the room as well. Bad enough that it was on live television, but now? Charlie had to see it. And so could everyone watching.
"Dove's blood for such a heavenly widdle pwincess," Katie crooned. And you could see in real time as something inside Charlie snapped.
"ENOUGH!" she roared, and a light fell from the ceiling, smacking Katie Killjoy. As Tom Trench ran to check her pulse, he was appalled to find nothing. Charlie is half-angel, after all. Enough for her rage to prove lethal now that she's lost it.
She turned to the audience. "You all think I'm just some naive little fool, don't you?! Some jolly, happy idiot?!" she screamed, her horns starting to emerge as her eyes shifted to appear more demonic.

Lucifer had tuned in to quietly support her, he wanted to see her shine but instead he saw utter cruelty, his one and only daughter humiliated in front of all of Hell, mocked then of course she'd snap... Who wouldn't after something like that? This was never what he wanted to see and soon he made his way over with a quick flight there and bracing himself for the worst as he approached her.
"Charlie..." He begun softly, his eyes glares a clear warning towards the demons still watching and it was obvious he was telling them to back off or else they'd face his wrath.
He soon exhaled sharply, he is expecting backlash from her because in his mind of course she'd be angry at him for only coming now. "I'm so sorry... About all of this. Let's... Sit down and talk?" He tried reaching out to her gently, trying to be the father she needs.
Actually, Lucifer is probably the one person Charlie has no vendetta against at this particular moment. He took his offered hand reached out to her as an invitation, and instead rushed into a full hug, desperately seeking the same comfort she had as a child. "Dad...! Why, why did they...?!" she sobs, in the middle of a full breakdown. She wouldn't be able to truly endanger Lucifer himself, since Luci has the power to stop her if he truly had to, but still, it's got to be heartbreaking to see your child like that.
Lucifer a bit caught off guard soon returned the hug, soon holding her gently and rubbing her back. "I don't know sweetheart, they shouldn't have done this to you. They have gone too far." His touch was gentle and comforting, patting her head with his other hand.
"It's going to be alright, dad got you. I'm here for you." He was doing his best to soothe her, but it was clear he was feeling anger build up too in by his tone, nobody does this to his child and goes unpunished for it.
"No, they... they should all pay...! They push me around for years, and then do this once I've finally started to make progress?!" Charlie hisses, although she's still crying. At least, she shows no signs of trying to harm Lucifer, because she trusts him. "Mom... Mom would know what to do. Mom wouldn't stand for this!" I mean, it's true. Lilith would probably get revenge just the same, if not worse than Charlie.
"A-And... And Vaggie... Where's Vaggie? She'll be able to help... H-Husk and Alastor, too... And Angel is good with feelings..." No Niffty though, huh? Probably a good call. But really, she just... wants her friends. Still, little does she know that those friends will probably find themselves afraid of her wrath now. Well, maybe not Vaggie.
Honestly this also caught Lucifer off guardn he's so used to seeing her as a beam of light and a ray of sunshine that it was strange to hear her talk about revenge, had they crushed her the way Heaven had crushed him? If so... He wasn't going to stand for it.
"Don't worry Charlie, i won't stand for this either. They hurt you and i won't let them get away with it." His tone changed, it's clear he deeply cares for her and would do anything for her. "I'll handle it." He patted her head once again with clear affection towards his child that had clearly been pushed too far. "I know you only wanted to help them but there's things i cannot allow." She at least can feel safe in having her father's care and love.
Charlie's eyes narrow as she locks onto the audience in front of them, who no longer laugh, but desperately try to escape and back away from the wrath of their princess and their king, respectively.
Charlie's gaze turns murderous, and her power causes the earth to shake beneath them, even beginning to crack under the force of her wrath. Then the screens around the room start to break, the shards falling around the room and several being thrown with such force that they slice the faces and bodies of audience members on the way down.
Finally, the desk that Katie Killjoy and Tom Trench had once reported at is thrown into the air and at a large chunk of audience members, crushing them underneath its weight. "Maybe you were right, Dad... There's no redemption waiting here," she hisses under her breath.
Lucifer's face fell a bit, he had never expected to hear such words from her and it broke his heart.
Seeing her rage he gave a cooing noise to try helping her feel better to know she wasn't alone and to calm her a bit. He transformed into his full demon form soon after.
"I didn't ever want you to experience what i had to go through..." He thought of it as harsh reality but it wasn't one he had wished upon Charlie. "Especially not this way." A soft snarl escaped his mouth.
"Enough is enough." He picked up Charlie and in an blink of an eye cut down the rest of the demons trying to escape with a sword transformed from his cane.
"Best. Dad. Ever!" Charlie cheers, excitedly kicking her legs. Even as an adult, she still can't hide the same excitement she had always possessed, huh? But the demons fell with only a mild yelp, inevitably unable to escape the wrath of Hell's royalty. Now that her hope had been utterly crushed, Charlie can only take delight in their suffering. Still, she's covered in blood, and it probably doesn't smell great.
For a moment he looked absolutely proud of himself, of course he would be woth praise from his daughter. "Let's go get you cleaned up." He carried Charlie out from the station, or well flew them both out, looking around. "Where is Vaggie?" He didn't see her earlier and wondered if she wouldn't want to come for her girlfriend as he scanned the ground below them.
"'Busy', she said... Of course. Why wouldn't they wait to do this to me until I'm all alone?" she hissed half-bitterly under her breath. But Vaggie is no doubt on her way. This was broadcasted all over Hell, after all, and Vaggie isn't one to just allow her girlfriend to be humiliated live on television without some retaliation. She looks down at the ground, starting to smile just a little. "They all look like ants down there, so small and helpless... Is this how you feel all the time? Being this powerful?" Charlie isn't even close to being quite as powerful as Lucifer, but for once, she feels justified for unleashing her rage on the denizens of Hell.
"I'm sure she's on her way sweetheart." He ensured her, knowing how much they care about each other. "They look pretty small down there, don't they? Yeah, i could easily crush them all if i wanted to." Which is most likely true, he could send the entierty of Hell to oblivion due to being a fallen angel and most of them would have their souls most likely destroyed if he got serious.
Charlie nodded. Even after everything, she still trusts Vaggi. After all, she had never given her any reason not to. "...Yeah. Yeah, so could I. And I should. Shouldn't I?"
Her horns begin to emerge and her eyes invert colors, fangs on full display in a grimace as she snaps her fingers. Several of the demons down below begin to bleed from their ears for several minutes, until their skulls outright explode. Possibly an ability Lilith passed down? "And... And my friends, they're the same, aren't they?! Alastor wants to see me fail, Husk and Niffty are just there because he SAYS to be, Angel is using me for a free room...!" There's only so long one can continue to deny before they finally crack and are forced to confront reality. And, well, even though Husk and Angel have grown to enjoy the hotel, there's no saying for Niffty or Alastor, so she might be at least partially right.
