You know I’m still mad that part of the spell to remove the Mark of Cain was killing something that the spell caster loves instead of killing something that the person currently wearing the Mark of Cain loves. It’s like someone in the writers room pitched the latter and some other asshole raised their hand like “but we just spent a season establishing that Castiel is Dean’s Collette so that’s gay” and then they introduced some random adopted son just to kill off in the same fucking episode that I had zero emotional attachment to and didn’t give a shit about. It didn’t make sense, friends. The Drama we could have had. The Reveal.

“If I frustrate you so damn much, why don’t you just leave?”

Dean’s hands are in fists at his sides. His shoulders are held high in tension. His mouth is twisted downward. By all accounts, he looks angry.

If Cas had just met him, he’d think that’s all there was. Anger and fire and hate.

But Cas hadn’t just met Dean. He’d known him for always. He touched the depths of Dean’s soul, held it together to keep it from breaking as he pulled it from hell itself.

There is no anger or fire or hate here.

There is fear. Doubt. Worry. Longing. Pain.

The faulty notion that if you push someone away, it will hurt less than them leaving on their own. They still leave. It still hurts.

Cas isn’t leaving. The reasons why are immeasurable - he’d need eons upon eons to list them even in part. Yet their meaning can be contained in three tiny words, so small for the weight they carry.

“Because I love you,” Cas says.

Dean blinks once, twice. His shoulders lower. His fingers loosen their grip. His mouth opens, then closes, no longer frowning.

A war wages in him, to believe, to want, to accept. Cas waits patiently for each battle, and watches Dean’s face carefully to see them pass. At last Dean smiles, a fragile thing, higher on one side. Beautiful. Bright.

He shakes his head and laughs a little. “Alright, Cas. You win.”

The South Congress Bridge in Austin Texas is home to the largest bat colony in North America. Over 2 million bats live under the bridge, and watching the bats take flight at sunset is a major tourist attraction for the city.

Chicon 2015, when Misha Crashes J2 panel, WTF? Why is Jensen looking at him so adoringly? Also when Misha's leaving the stage, he holds Jared's shoulder and Jensen seems to be waiting for his turn but it doesn't happen. He looks disappoited. Then Jared and Rich both hold his shoulders, is it for comfort that Mish didn't acknowledge him when leaving or am I cockles trash and it was totally unrelated?

bless you for pointing me towards this again. They are....... so ridiculous. How dare they look at each other like this on stage. Idk about the hand on the shoulder thing, other than, yeah, misha tends to not touch jensen too much on stage, but my main takeway from the whole exchange is just how damn married they are. Like Jensen looks like he’s worried about getting in trouble, while Jared just doesn’t give a single fuck lmao. And Misha is just giving jensen a death stare lmao. Misha definitely has different expectations and standards for how jensen will treat him than how jared will lol, that’s for sure. Also Jensen being so bitter and pissed by Misha being in an episode but never coming to set for it, and you can see Jared was so normal-amount bothered by it (read: not at all really) that he doesn’t even remember what Jensen is talking about at first.
