Hanging around… I looked out my kitchen window and was intrigued by a neighbours clothesline. Perhaps this is worthy of a new series of Clotheslines.

Setting moon...
Setting moon…
Well last night’s attempt to capture the Moon with Mars was not as successful as I would have liked. This is a short timelapse of the moon setting over St. Jochimin Church in Pointe-Claire Village, site of Pointe-Claire’s famous windmill. This was taken over a period of 3 hours and 784 images. Nature’s Holiday Wreath While walking in the woods I came across a simple but elegant wreath.
A New Vision… or is it? The time has come to pick up the camera after a creative hiatus. As I walk, bike or drive there is visual candy abound.
Happy Birthday Canada from Pierrefonds. Quebec. A wet but amazing parade with a very enthusiastic crowd. So nice to see the diversity of our community represented.

Music is part of every society and brings people together in a celebration of all stages of life. For me, music is a very important component of my happiness. Here in the West Island for the past 14 years it has brought the community together to celebrate the start of summer but more importantly to support local community organizations.
I am pleased to present some photos of Jimmy James and Dwane Dixon.
Thank you to Pierrefond’s Mayor, Jim Beis for the warm welcome (as always). Ride on my friend and may the wind always be on your back. Also a big thank you to Bênoit Langevin for allowing me to take photos from on the stage.

My camera club (Lakeshore Camera Club) had an Expression’s Competition and the theme was “Foot Wear”. Needless to say my fellow members really showcased their talents and creativity. I was pleasantly and humbly surprised that my image was within the Top 10. The photo was shot in a dark room with a black fabric background with the camera on manual exposure and bulb (time exposure). The lighting…

When you are in Toronto and most things are closed, you can always count on the Pacific Mall to be open. It is the largest Chinese indoor mall in North America. You can find everything from cell phones to cameras to herbal remedies and
more.

This is a work in progress. My model (Riley) is more then willing to cooperate as long as it means more doggie treats.

So I decided to have some photographic fun… take the Fuji X-Pro2 add a Sigma 70mm macro with a Canon mount via an EOS- FX adapter and see what I get. Due to the fact the lens has no aperture ring (f-stops) all I can control is the shutter speed. I am going to have to investigate some other adapters which give some depth of field control. It is a never ending learning experience…

Hello again… it has been a long time since my last post here. In fact 3 years to almost the day since last venturing into one of my favorite photographic haunts. I have been wandering this tunnel since just my blogging activities seem to have been lacking. Lets hope we will not be strangers here again…

Sometimes you pass by something and say or think to yourself, “this is interesting”. An object that we all see and pass by but never give them a second thought. It is all a matter of perspective… Look and you will See.

Light… we see it in different forms, shapes and moods. For the most part it is invisible to our conscious. We become blinded to its beauty. From the moment we wake up there it is… shapes and patterns on the wall… just shouting out to be enjoyed and treasured. Look and you will see…

First Selfie of 2015 It has been waaaaaaaaaay to long since my last post here. Always some excuse… to busy, no time, uninspired photographically, and any other excuse that I could think of.
