Despite the blog's name, the actual rate of 3D model making is "whenever the mood strikes".

Xenogog feels like the mascot of the Warped class, and it's a pretty cute critter. Been meaning to model it forever so it feels nice to cross it off the list!

Drillbaby, an oldie but a goodie. It'd be cool to see the other two sawfaces updated for the game one day!
I might make the updated Chainsaw Kid from the book eventually, as I really love the new design; the old one has stronger "mascot mon" energy, but the new one is just plain cool.
Bonus: siblings frolicking~

Hey folks, since Shapeways went the way of the non-avian dinosaurs, I've re-uploaded all the models for the original demishades I was was commissioned to do when the Mortasheen ttrpg was successfully funded to Cults3D.
Repositório de designs para impressão 3D compartilhado por TheMinisMonster, designer do Cults, plataforma de impressão 3D.
Unlike on Shapeways, you can only buy the 3D model and you have to print it yourself. All models are set for around 5 dollars.
The painted minis used to illustrate the models in the website were done by the talented @skincoats!
Anthropocypris, an original Mortasheen monster made by me!
My day job is as a micropaleontologist with a focus on ostracods, so I wanted to make a little seed shrimp guy as a possible starter (if I ever get to play in a game, anyway).

Help a disabled, nonbinary Mortasheen editor facing homelessness
This year has been rough on my family, with medical problems, car breakdowns, and… Caitlin Rips needs your support for Support a Family Faci
Vee @eeveeprincessxd may be known to some of you as a major contributor to Mortasheen by @bogleech, which has quickly become my favourite TTRPG. More importantly, they’re a part of a vibrant community that I love, and I have faith that this community will return the favour.
Vee and their family are in serious trouble. Their father works, but is on medical leave, so the family is without a major source of income. The numerous crises they’ve faced have kept them from making rent, so the family faces eviction.
As a queer disabled person who has faced homelessness myself, I can tell you Vee is experiencing something horrible that I wouldn’t wish upon anyone. Every single dollar will bring hope to them and their family.
From the link: “This year has been rough on my family, with medical problems, car breakdowns, and more making it hard to keep up with rent. Now, we're about to be evicted for non-payment, and lack the means to get the money ourselves. We've gone to all sort of social services for aid, but we either don't qualify, don't hear back, or get told that they're out of budget for the year. Please help keep us off the streets! We're running out of time and options.”
We’ve raised $1126 already. Let’s keep it going!
Please don’t leave Vee at the mercy of an unjust, ableist system. If you can’t donate, at least share this post so it reaches those who can.
Wow what the fuck new Mortasheen 3D model who'd have guessed-
With the RPG released I got in the mood to model these critters once again. Probably not on a weekly basis, more on a "when the mood strikes" one, but there's still plenty of monsters that I'd like to take a crack at modeling one of these days.

Mortasheen is a monster-collecting setting I've developed for over twenty years, it has been in development as a tabletop roleplaying game for over fifteen years, and I have spent more than the last five years laboring on this first book alone. Credit to Morgan Mullins for the gameplay system, @gutsygills for every single playable monster build, rules expansion, testing and enormous amounts of other editing work.
History of the project here
A condensed guide to the setting itself here
Expanding and co-managing a new tabletop gaming "brand" out of this setting is MY SOLE CAREER PROSPECT and potentially my entire new livelihood for the foreseeable future. This is literally now more than half my life's work.
If you can't afford such a LARGE AND CONTENT DENSE new gaming book (a fair chunk of the price is only the raw printing cost!) you can help me survive and get this life-consuming project off to a good start by signal boosting and spreading the word.
Miscellaneous Book Information:
8 x 11'', 350 pages. Includes all rules and mechanics for running a campaign or playing in one, player biotypes, NPC's, locations, gadgets, lairs, setting culture, ecology, unique original battle system, story hooks, a secret antagonist faction for more epic life-or-death adventures and a modular ability system for modifying and creating any conceivable monster, object or phenomenon. All 177 monsters in the bestiary include detailed biology and characterization.
Featuring guest artists including @biomechanicalmush, @sabedilemon, @iguanamouth and more
Softcover $60, Hardcover $70-80 (more on etsy to offset their fees) digital pdf download $40 so we have enough to split with the gameplay devs. Books ordered during this first run will most likely arrive December within the USA, while international shipping from this country is currently undergoing unpredictable chaos.
Backers of the original kickstarter should still receive their books first, and many already have! Over half are yet to finish printing, but we're getting there.
Free online-only playable bonus monster builds available on the front page of bogleech.com or at the bogleech.com/mortabook link, also all assembled by @gutsygills
Support Jonathan Wojcik On Ko-fi. Ko-fi lets you support the people and causes you love with small donations
I'd usually rather be able to give someone something back like if they buy my Etsy stuff or are part of my Patreon (though I'm still badly behind in that, and am gonna start offering physical Etsy stuff etc. there too to compensate) but people asked if I have a ko Fi and I do; I also still have the necessary remaining money to publish the mortasheen rpg, but that's strictly the only thing that money is for
Whats good, I'm reaching out bc my fiance has been pregnant and conflicted on keeping the child or not. as a result me and my girlfriend are expected to find somewhere to live within 10 days and barely make 700 a week, were looking into a new place with a 1500 deposit but we also need help feeding ourselves and general living expenses. This decision is so important and life changing its defeating to be told to get out instead of getting support from our best friends. We have no family to fall back on and nowhere to go because we assumed our friends would support us no matter what. any donations are very very appreciated
Alright folks, all 13 Demishades are now available for purchase in the Mortasheen Minis Shapeways shop!
They are all around 1.5 inches in height, making them easily compatible with other tabletop games as well. The basic white plastic option is available at 10 dollars for all minis. Though it has a slightly grainy texture, it can print small details very well, and it can hold acrylic model paints just fine!
In addition, everyone with a Shapeways account (which is free to make) can download the STL files for any mini in case you wish to try printing them at home!
I'd like to thank @bogleech for allowing me to model these little fellows!
Hazmad, requested by a very generous anonymous person. One of the original demishades that's not a demishade anymore! I quite like how the inside of the "suit" turned out. Also, remind me to never try to use blender's smoke simulator ever again. Particles work just fine.
Would you like to see a particular Mortasheen monster in 3D? Send me a 3 bucks tip and I’ll see to it!
