Desire. It functioned in such a strange way. The want for another could appear at a moments notice. It could disappear at the slightest hesitation of breath. Amethyst hues narrowed upon the woman as his mind reflected on this, introspectively considering the situation, though he knew there was no stopping what was to occur. And there was no part of him that considered such, a bad thing. Clothing hung loose on his form, torso exposed and legs covered by the jeans he had chosen to wear. The front was even unbuttoned still, exposing the color of his boxers. She seemed to have trouble tearing her eyes from his form, and thus it was decided to extend an invitation. “You know... Touch is a better sensation than sight.”
He does not listen, stuck in his pain. The weight of his sins, his past, surely even now it was unbearable. There was no doubt Caius still suffered. His pain was deep, etched far into his soul, his sorrow was eternal.
But he didn’t deserve that.
“ You are not here out of no reason, surely you are not alive so you can suffer more? it doesn’t matter what you did, you have been given the power to start over, please… you’ve done so much for me, take it. “
She cared for him deeply, something between motherly and something she didn’t know how to describe. It was deep, lovely, like warm air in her mind, but yet her hear felt like it was running, running. a long, hard road ahead, wasn’t it?
What was etched into his soul could not be removed. There was no cure for the tragedies that he endured, that he repeated. That s o r r o w was at his core, it was him. Her words fell upon him, and there was inclination to let them find a deaf ear, but there was a strange timbre in her words that wouldn’t let him ignore her plea.
“And what would I do with this new found power? Shall I watch as this new world falls upon itself as the other did? Am I to stand vigilant through time once more?” Eternity had drained him. His vigil over time had eroded a mind that had once been so serene and joyful. A thousand failures were more corrosive than acid, eating at the S O U L. More than that, being brought from death repeatedly had slowly rubbed away what was human. He no longer felt human.

“You’re here, you’re alive, you’ve been given a new chance. Is that not enough for you?” her first chance to ask him why, about his bitterness. about his unhappiness. she didn’t understand, and she felt sad. why was he making himself suffer needlessly so?
“Is that what you call this? A new chance? I remember. E V E R Y T H I N G ” Eternity was not something a soul was meant to endure. While his charge had kept him whole, it was the only thing that had held him together. With Yeul free, and this world released from the Goddess, he should have been allowed to forget, or at least perish. This bitterness of watching thousands die, failing a task thousands of times enveloped him. “I have failed a thousand times. And yet in this new world I am not allowed to forget. I must bear the weight of an eternity of being unable to protect my charge. I sought to remain in the Void Beyond. To meld with the Chaos and forget. Yet somehow I stand here. In a world I do not deserve to stand upon.”

SHE was lost. Completely and utterly lost. The trees crowded around her, the silence thundered through her ears. Vanille felt like she’d been running for years when it had only been a few hours since she’d managed to get herself so completely lost. The pink haired girl fell down to the ground, the exhaustion setting in. Her breathing coming in small gasps. The world wasn’t a place she knew anymore, nothing about it was familiar.
“ where are you all? “
Noise drew attention at any rate, and in this forest silence was often the norm. Disruption of this silence was quick to draw the eye of anything that roamed the forest regularly. As the Guardian was wont to do. The shape running through the wood was easily tracked, wearing bright clothing and running in that manner was noisy. Amethyst hues watched from a distance as the woman’s run came to a halt, panting of breath echoing between the trees. She did not know silence. Her question voiced to the air brought confusion to the Guardian, curious to her intentions now. He stepped forward, making his way through the forest near silently until he was close enough to speak softly and be heard. “You seek someone in these woods?”

“This realm is not for you.” Valhalla was not the realm for souls. This silent place was home to two people, locked in combat for the endless years. The souls of the dead did not reside here, they did not visit this world. The Void Beyond was their realm, and thus she did not belong. Her presence was one that should not be, and it drew his attention. If she functioned as a Paradox, here, then she would be quickly e l i m i n a t e d .

“You are an anomaly.” The words were spoken emotionlessly, without hate nor anger, not even interest. It was spoken as simple fact. Amethyst hues regarded the woman from a distance, weapon sheathed on his back. There was no fear of assault from her, nor did he threaten one upon her. It seemed as if he was merely trying to ascertain what she was. “Speak. Why have you come?”

The echo of this place was unfamiliar. He was by no means a cartographer of the Void Beyond, but usually such structures did not exist in this unending realm. He had seen structures like this while he stood on the shores of Valhalla, but it was not something Valhalla housed. It seemed a place of worship, a low-god temple. It was by no means ornate, no means elaborate, but it was still quite obvious in f u n c t i o n . Boots tapped against the cobblestone floor that led to this floating structure in the Void, a single hand pressing against the doubled doors to reveal the inside. Scattered pews furnished the main room, and a bed of flowers lie in the center. Slow, cautious steps brought the man further into the place, amethyst hues narrowing as he looked around. This place was an irregularity. It felt a paradox.
Within the slimmest of digits, a key-shaped weapon took place, since her time residing in this Dark Realm, loneliness was prominent. There’s been no other but self, && the yellow-eyed creatures that spawn from the dark depths to attack her && the light within. Just as she thought to keep going on her trek, deeper && deeper into this abyss, masculinity of a voice surprised the woman, whipping around to find its source. A man of purple, lavender armor. It boggles the mind on how no one knew of the Realm of Darkness, albeit, having met some others who said such knowledge was lost to them.
At first, silence ensued, taking a few tentative steps back as the stranger beckoned closer. “…who are you?” Inquired she, not directly answering his question. “–this is the Realm of Darkness – do you.. have any sort of idea how you ended up, here?” One does not simply end up here by chance. Something would have to transpire, in order to walk along this Realm.
The fact that there was another in this realm brought him to believe that this held a possibility of being the Void Beyond. The realm was large, though many sections lacked this kind of structuring, so thus not traversable. He might just be far from the echo of Etro’s throne. But the weapon the woman held made him think a counter argument. There was no such weapon in his memories, and those immortal images were ever clear. Lavender hues narrowed as she inquired to him, his head canting to the side. Her question made little sense. Even by a different name, this was the Void Beyond. It echoed familiarity. “The Realm of Darkness? From where do you come that calls it so? This should be the Void Beyond. As for how I came here, it was my intention to travel between the veil. To seek the realm of Chaos.”

≼Salvation≽ ░█{ϟ}——With the belt undone next where the buttons of his pants before she allowed them to fall from his waist. Her lips still fighting for dominance with his. Stepping forward slightly she pushed him back into the wall behind him breaking free of those restricting pants that once hung at her ankles. With the slight push her body pressed to his sandwiching him between the wall and her own person. How her body craved him now the palms of his hands on her ass caused a moan to expelled from their lips tied together in a ruthless battle. Oh how he wanted her as much as she did for him. Yet they drew on in this long passionate make out session while playfully teasing each other with their body slowly becoming bare before each other.
The distinct shift of weight against his hips let him know she had solved the problem of the pants he had been wearing. Had being the primary word due to the fact that the fabric was now mirroring hers, pooled at his feet. Feeling her shoving him back, he smiled into the kiss, feeling his back against the wall. The delight of feeling her moan against his lips echoed in his body, shivering against her as his hips pressed up against her own. He couldn’t help himself in this, his hands squeezing her ass as their passionate lip-lock continued. It was undoubtedly obvious that she was causing his blood to burn through his veins, face heated just slightly as their kiss continued. His hips pressed into hers, their lower bodies now barely concealed from one another, and part of him had to wonder whom would be the first to peel those last layers off.
The threat of the Fal’Cie was getting out of hand now and Fang had to do absolutely everything and anything to put it to an immediate stop, no matter what it took nor the cost of it. She was willing to sacrifice everything even herself to protect everyone from this threat. She was not afraid. The last minute resort was resorting to the people of Paddra. Although this had surged quite the outrage, Fang believed that they needed all the help that they could get.
A meeting had been agreed between Fang and the Paddra’s envoy to discuss further matters. She took her weapon with her just to be on the safe side.
Soon, Fang approached their meeting point and walked towards the male, who she had assumed was the envoy from Paddra. Eyes narrowed slightly, but she had to keep her cool. She didn’t want to make a scene after all.
“Are you the envoy from Paddra?”, she called out as she walked towards Caius.
The approach of the Oerban was heralded by the distinct s i l e n c e of creatures. They apparently were ether silenced by the envoys hand or fled at the sight of a human. The smaller creatures tended to not want to try and fight the denizens of Pulse. The worse this area had to offer were the Mánagarmr, dog-like creatures with a nasty bite. They did not like people but would attack them if they managed a pack. The Goblins and Chieftains didn’t want much to do with people unless territory was invaded. Lavender hues shifted, looking toward the woman that approached. He heard her call, looking her over as she continued to head his way. The garb she wore painted her as an Oerban, and this definitely wasn’t the place for a leisurely stroll. He turned fully to meet his counterpart, nodding his head lightly. The headdress he wore shifted at that, feathers momentarily blocking the vision of his left eye. Standing straight corrected that, but he still had to reach to brush what had been there. “I am. You must be the envoy from Oerba.”
