I'm Mosslind; He/They. I am 33 as of writing this. I'm super into nature, undeath, and other kinds of monsters, especially Illithids from D&D. I'm kind of a weenie, and I'll shy away from e-fighting. I'm not afraid of blocking people who bring strife to my doorstep on purpose.

I'm not really known for much, but I reblog a lot of shitposts and aesthetics, and I also wrote a cool BG3 fanfic one time, so there's that. CW for gross stuff, due to, uh, ceremorphosis.

My current endeavors include wanting to get into photography and fashion, but my specific fandom interests change relatively often. Blame my ADHD overpowering my autism on that front.

found some sketches of Woodmon concepts for Aurora

They're some of the most diverse Digimon when it comes to their appearance in the setting.

Depending on their habitat, if a Digimon evolves into a Woodmon, they are likely to have an appearance more adjusted to that specific area, as it helps them to blend in, being a type of ambush predators. Some can change their appearance slowly over time as more data from the surroundings is accumulated, and they are often seen with various moss, flowers, plants and fungi growing on their bark. They can look like almost any variety of a tree ( stump ), both ones encountered only in the Digital World, or similar to those seen in the real world.

Though not all Woodmon are aggressive, of course, some are and can be pretty dangerous. They will stand still until an unsuspecting victim passes buy, and grab and/or attack them to then drain the Digimon or creature of their life force.

Ones that don't do that often eat mostly plant-based foods, and can sometimes be seen in towns and villages, usually those that are more integrated with nature and tend to avoid massive cities.

The corrupted version is one of the effects of the Dark Area/Demon Lords, and an undead is a version of Woodmon that was killed and had its digicore torn out, but the body, though constantly deteriorating, is still left functioning for some time. This, too, is something usually done by the Demon Lords to use these dead Digimon as temporary puppet minions of sorts.

Photo of incredibly beautiful roots, the tree grew in a small swampy area in the middle of the city. There is a park and a river in this area, the soil is muddy and moist, but the trees still grow in it and look very beautiful. Made this shot last summer.
