this is from one of my earlier test plays! I... still haven't actually started the thing yet, between setting up the world/lore how I want it and story, figuring out how to actually do that ect... but it's bugging me that i haven't put anything out yet cuz I really want to!! I love my boys so much <3

And speaking of, here they are!! This is the Feathersword household. (I... haven't put them up on the Gallery yet. I'm also on console and debating if the Hell Keyboard is worth a bio...) Left to right is Reese (the most blorbo), Tirry, the father of these two boys, (more about him later) and Stev-O.

Stev-O, I based off of the scumbag Steve meme (for funsies), but I think I wanna give him a refresh, so he kinda fits into the setting better. and maybe Tirry too, but that might be betraying his character... They're both kinda ridiculous but I love them to pieces. I guess it sorta makes Reese the black sheep of the family? 🤔

I like to imagine that before moving in, they actually went house hunting... the housing market kinda sucks in the beginning huh lol

I like to think that Reese fancies himself a bit of a photographer (this is the author trying to tie in lore from taking screenshots in free mode)

This is... their "house". Just a couple of thrown up walls and a bathroom door. Plenty of seating, though. And who could go without a few luxuries here and there? It's not much, but it's home; Newcrest, with nothing but yard for miles...

Sunwoven - Entryway

Hey everyone!

Finally I'm here with the next part of the Sunwoven Collection which would be the Entryway. I have to admit, creating this set wasn’t quite the experience I had hoped for. I really wanted to make doors for this part, and I’ve been working hard on them for quite a while. But since I didn’t have enough time to finish all the variations, I decided to include them in the next part instead. I never really know how much work I’ll have at my graphic design job, sometimes it’s manageable, but other times, like these past few weeks, it gets really hectic. That’s why I had less time to finish this set. So sorry for being a little absent, this was the reason. But to make up for it, I made three plants instead, something I wouldn’t have had time for if I’d finished the doors.

About the set itself, I think it kind of speaks for itself. It includes furniture and decor objects for the entryway. My initial idea with Sunwoven is to add plant to each set I'm releasing. That was my first inspiration and I'm happy I could do the 3 new plants. I want to get better at creating plants and honestly I love plants in real life, I love taking care of them and I feel proud every time a new leaf appears. It was so much fun to browse plant webshops to search for references, and let me tell you I have some new plants on my wishlist to buy and also to transform to CC.

As I mentioned earlier, I added two pieces to this set that I actually own in real life. I love seeing my own things in the game. :D They are the round bag and sandals and I think they add a cozy, lived-in feel to the space.

I hope you'll like these items because although I had less time to do them but I really loved bringing this entryway to life.

Ye Olde Tinkerer's Workstation

A little recolor of the robotics table from Discover University, to suit my endless Steampunk brainrot. The WIP robot that appears is also recolored to a silver color, but this won't affect the color of the robot once it's fully made.

My first foray into modifying emission, normal, and spec maps. It's not perfect, but I'm pretty pleased!

Comes in four wood tones and two metals, for a total of eight swatches, and requires Discover University.

(This was a few hairstyles ago for her. She looks like this now. Sébastien hasn't changed his hairstyle probably ever.)

He laughs. “Damn. He's still at it, then.”

“He’s... funny, at least,” she says. (They both laugh because Beau isn't really meaning to be funny, he just is, 3 situationships and all...)

“I haven’t been back to Bridgeport in ages.” She was trying to sell some art. The curator at True Modern asked her to come out with her portfolio. She’s still trying to do that kind of thing here, now. She’s just... picky, she explains to him. But Windenburg has its charm.

He looks over the balcony, grimaces.

“No offense if you like it here, but this place sucks.” 

“What, you miss The Grind?” 

“I'm starting to miss Waylon’s Haunt– they used to let me throw parties in the other half of the building…“
