About a week back I ordered a non-functional copy of Chrono Trigger off eBay. Shortly after it arrived, I got to work patching broken traces. When I booted it up, to no surprise, my only option was New Game.

However, what was a surprise was that it did save! Rebooted the game and my file as still there. Evidently, the internal save battery still worked! Could it have been a defective cartridge from the start? Some copy of a twenty-seven year old game that nobody could play but didn't throw away? I don't know, but it could be possible.

Looking at my account history on Twitch, I'm pretty sure my first stream as a vtuber was April 8th of 2021. It was just a small stream playing Risk of Rain 2 with a couple friends, Virtual_Graves and Cosmic_Cartographer. And it was the first time Graves had ever played RoR2.

It was a good time. The three of us getting the hang of things for streaming games.
