ummm hello, I am here to throw my metaphorical hat in the ring with my deadlock OC/self-insert, Magia.
Magia (a false name), the witch of the waters, she claims to be the daughter of the Moon and her powers come from her goddess' influence. Her past is shrouded in mystery and she intends to keep it that way. Guided by a divine message from the Moon, she traveled to the Cursed Apple alongside her beloved to investigate the patrons and those who seek their power.
Her wishes for the patrons are not her own. She has no need for their power; she's been blessed by her goddess, so she wishes on behalf of those she loves, should they fail in their endeavors.
Speaking of those she loves:
Vindicta and Magia have a sisterly bond, having their childhoods taken from them by abusive men who had no right to rip a girl's innocence away from them. Vin is very protective of Magia, having been murdered on the accusation of witchcraft alone, she fears what might happen to Magia if she is not vigil. She uses Magia's safety as further justification for her revenge, much to Magia's dismay. Magia cares deeply for Vindicta and laments the ritual's completion, knowing that if they succeed she will lose one of the few people she's ever felt truly close to.
Pocket met Magia during their travels, after that unfortunate birthday that plagues their nightmares. There's a silent understanding that they've both been through enough for a lifetime, yet there's still so much to do... So for better or for worse, the two of them decided to be there for each other.
As the paranoia of being back in the big city has set in, Pocket has distanced themselves from Magia in an effort to protect her. The two of them live in a perpetual state of worry and longing for the other. But still, on calmer days, Pocket returns to her for tea and company. One day, they hope every day is one they can spend with her, without fearing for her life or the guilt of Fairfax Industries weighing them down. All that blood, all that pain. One day, they'll bring it to an end.
