Double exposure self-portrait
This thing I'm making has a crazy amount of texture
I’m giving away some rough draft engravings for a book I did a few months ago about memories. They’re yours for just the price of shipping (from France it’s usually about €1.20, and I’d offer that too but I’m just a lil broke!)
There are three copies of the butterfly net, two of the shoe, and four of the needle/question mark. HMU w ur deets for a cool (practically) free original piece of spooky art!

Perfect with school starting so soon! Organize easier with this hand embroidered and partially hand-sewn “pocket pack” in Sunrise design, $35 on mothshop Useful as an artist’s kit for those of us who travel a bunch (how I use it!), a school organizer, a makeup brush organizer, cutlery pack…. And much more! 6.2x11 inches, with four 2.2in pockets. This is an item originally designed for individual use, and I use mine daily. Fanny pack not included, unfortunately. :(
Now live!

This week mothspace has moved the studio into a redwood tree, and is living out some age old dreams -- notably walking too close to the ocean and speaking in rhymes with the wind. Working on a series of extra tiny graphite images -- "Snippets of the California Coast"
My laziness knows new bounds. Working on some embroidery in a pink and yellow theme for a series of pencil cases. Do stay tuned!
Shruti ( @rang-barse) wears some of my creations. Coming shortly to the mothshop.Â
Top: Strawberry collared shirt – $30
Bottom: Crybabes tunic – $25
Handmade embroidery by Amanda Yates Rodgers (mothspace)Â
(Please note: the garments are second-hand and not created by me. Only the embroidery is original and handmade.)
Time goes too slow and too fast before saying goodbye Three Polaroid photos, 2016 Amanda Yates Rodgers (left and center) and Clément Carriol (right)

Working on a portrait in honor of my grandmother, who passed away this weekend. She was elegant, kind, and incredibly patient. The world has truly lost one of its finest souls, but I'm comforted knowing that the universe has gained one back. I feel honored to resemble her so exactly in this photo.
