#Repost @embracingblackculture with @get_repost ・・・ Wow. 💔 And this is the reality for so many teachers. In the U.S. the average annual salary for teachers is a little less than $60,000 a year. And in certain states, the average wage is $40,000. And that’s the AVERAGE. Some educators are earning less than $20,000 a year for what they do. Teachers do one of the most important, if not THE most important thing you can do in this world. They educate our youth, preparing them for the future, and yet they are given scraps. You don’t see many grade school, or high school teachers making top dollar, and that’s a problem. We feel for this sister here.
