Keys on Friday

So I'm getting the keys for my new flat on Friday. It's like there's a bubble that's finally popped, and I don't get to spend the rest of my life with Meg. That's definitely the worst part, because I know I have to leave and don't get me wrong there's definitely excitement of a new flat. But, internally there's far far more hurt and turmoil. I don't want to leave. The flat, her, the cat, the wee man, my home. I don't want to leave the first place I've felt properly safe for the first time in nearly two decades.
