Oregon Lights Photographer Jason Brownlee submitted this delightful panorama taken over the skies of Oregon. At the far left and on the horizon you get a hint of the aurora borealis, at the center one of the cascade volcanoes named Mount Bachelor is framed and almost surrounded by the arc of the milky way, and just to make everyone a bit sad, to the left of Mount Bachelor there is a pulse of light pollution in the frame thanks to the city of Bend, Oregon. -JBB Image credit: Jason Brownlee Photography & Design http://on.fb.me/1HKu1Lc

Dreaming of summer dinner parties in the woods. Cedar infused trout, foraged clover wild rice and a slightly sweet wild blueberry pie. I’ll never understand how people can cook and host without also being sort of a hot mess. (Welcome to my dinner party…sorry I’m so sweaty but at least the food will be tasty😅) Classic me is thinking I can do/carry everything all at once but smiling, dropping things, getting lost in conversation etc. Are you good at asking others for help?
Moody day at beautiful Maligne Lake. I have yet to find an angle of that lake that is not mesmerizing. Shot up high with @yellowhead.helicopters. — view on Instagram https://ift.tt/2ZF9s0J

“The sky is a meadow of wildstar flowers.” ― Ann Zwinger Cedar Keys National Wildlife Refuge in Florida offered photographer Cody Laub a dark sky scattered with stars. “When I got out of my car and looked up, I could see the Milky Way with my naked eye. It felt so surreal.” The refuge is comprised of 13 small islands ranging from 1 to 120 acres in size. Take a kayak or boat and explore the small islands for birdwatching, hiking and lovely time on the water. Bring bug spray and your sense of adventure. Photo courtesy of Cody Laub.
There is nothing quite like the mood of a rainy morning, strong coffee, a good book and the smell of bread baking. Solid start to the week.
The 2019 Share the Experience photo contest also named a winner in the Scenic, Seasons & Landscapes category. Saurabh Trivedi earned the prize with this extraordinary sunrise above the volcanic landscape at Haleakala National Park in Hawaii. Beyond the amazing sunrises, this special place vibrates with stories of ancient and modern Hawaiian culture and protects the bond between the land and its people. The park also cares for endangered species, some of which exist nowhere else. What a park! What a picture! Photo by Saurabh Trivedi (www.sharetheexperience.org).
won’t find your spirit in a lost and found

Something different today. A couple of days ago my wife @meghanjward and I found ourselves kids-free and then set out to seek hidden waterfalls in northern Banff National Park. At this particularly photogenic cascade, Meg swapped her hiking clothes for something a little more formal so we could create this fairytale-worthy scene. Gotta wonder what the kids think we do while we’re “at work”. 😁 — view on Instagram https://ift.tt/2NY5AlT
“I will never get tired of the sun setting over the Tetons from the Snake River Overlook.” Photographer Keenan Adams shares his gorgeous shot of Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. “This was the same place Ansel Adams took a famous photo. Although I knew better, I was still surprised as to how much it changed since 1942.” It’s a reminder that even Grand Teton National Park is everchanging. Whether you visit a national park once or a thousand times, the photos and memories last a lifetime. Photograph courtesy of Keenan Adams.
