Among the wealthy tri-state-area set, there’s more buzz than ever about fleeing south to Florida, land of mild winters and, more importantly after last year’s federal tax overhaul, zero state personal income tax.

High-earners are learning what tax experts have known for years: Tax collectors in states like New York make it really hard to leave. Wealth managers and tax lawyers say many of their clients are staying put after hearing about the scrupulous records they would have to keep to show they’ve really uprooted their lives and severed ties with their former states -- and that it’s not as easy as just spending a few more days a month in a Florida vacation home.

Like other high-tax states, New York’s Department of Taxation and Finance will go to great lengths to keep wealthy residents on their tax lists. The states’ methods can be aggressive: Issuing subpoenas to pore through credit card statements, bank transactions or phone records to track a taxpayer’s location, and sending auditors to interview doormen or confirm doctors’ appointments.

I really don’t have any words for this. They are literally trying to prevent people from voting with their feet. This is tyranny!

The  capitalist  system  is  a  system  in  which  promotion  is  precisely according to merit. If people do not get ahead, there is bitterness in their minds.They are reluctant to admit that they do not advance because of their  lack  of  intelligence. They  take  their  lack  of  advancement  out  on society. Many  blame  society  and  turn  to  socialism. This  tendency  is especially strong in the ranks of intellectuals. Because professionals treat each  other  as  equals, the  less  capable  professionals  consider  themselves “superior” to non-professionals and feel they deserve more recognition than they receive. Envy plays an important role.There is a philosophical predisposition among persons to be dissatisfied with the existing state of affairs. There  is  dissatisfaction, also, with  political  conditions. If  you  are dissatisfied, you ask what other kind of state can be considered.

2. Believing heavily skewed statistics which exaggerate deaths “caused” by communism while ignoring deaths “caused” by capitalism or fascism using similar measurements. I wonder how many deaths capitalism has been responsible for, my dude? Hint: it’s a whole fuck ton more than deaths “caused” by communism if we count casualties in war, civilians murdered by the state, starvation, genocides, and whatever other bullshit metrics are included in laughably faulty communist death count tallies.

3. Thinking that the UK and France attacking Germany for the violation of treaties and agreements would have been a preemptive strike, despite Germany’s violations being grounds for an immediate declaration of war. Imagine having literally less than a high school level understanding of World War II history. Amazing

4. “Being into punk” and having some weak ass right wing views. Are you cool with the cognitive dissonance or is your ass just too stupid to actually listen to the music and scene you’re “into”?

1. No where have I said communism is the only form of socialism. In pointing out that someone is unable to differentiate between communism in fascism, my statement does not entail that communism is the only form of socialism.

2. I’m not sure what you’re trying to achieve by linking a rather shoddy looking book, but Toqueville was not a socialist and actively opposed socialists in France, Hitler and the Nazi party were socialist only in name and actively opposed left wing groups in Germany, and Orwell has a whole host of problems.

1. Except, you keep saying that people who are not Marxist Communist (like the Nazis) are not real socialist. They were socialist, in more than name only. 

There is little difference between Communism and Fascism. They are both socialist ideologies based on the teachings of Hegel that rely on polylogist Geist. Hegel was such a horrible writer that two people can read his works and draw completely different conclusions from it, which is why collectivist split between a false “left and right” dichotomy. “Horseshoe theory”  only seems valid because the two opposing sides have a similar source.

The only difference is that Nazis believe race is what determines how you think, and Marxist believe class is what determines how you think. But even then, the lines can be blurred since Marx was highly racist himself. Nazis are just more open about the racism (and before you go on with your bulverism on this source, Walter E. Williams was a Marxist himself)
