[[I just feel so...at peace, guys. This apartment was the best choice we could have made. For the first time in 4 years, I feel truly at peace. Like I have the space to breathe, write, thrive, and just... exist. To just be me again. I feel like this is going to be such a big help to me and my mental health. I hope all of you are or get to experience this same peace because everyone deserves peace.

I know I am still slow on the rp front but with things slowing down with the apartment prep i will make sure to sit down and take time to get to all of the things as well as decide if I want to flip an old blog to bring my Sam Winchester back. I feel like I am actually living for myself again and it is the best feeling in the world.]]

[[It is early morning and the brain is not quite wording yet but imagine Sam was the first to discover what Hannah had become. Imagine if she managed to get through to Hannah to an extent, kind of like how Josh can get Hannah to recognize him and vice versa. But imagine it happening much earlier and Sam being dead set on protecting her.

The confusion in the group when Sam throws herself in front of Hannah when one of the others aims to shoot her. ]]

[[I feel like the main reason Sam got into the supernatural and resonated with the mountain is the fact that she couldn't let what happened to Hannah and Beth go. She feels the weight of it, knows that she had the necessary skills to survive and as such decided to devote herself fully to protecting the innocent and trying to stop more people from suffering the same fate that her best friend did.

She feels like this is how she can atone. How she can make use of the life that she was given. More than anything, she doesn't want anyone to go through what she and her friends did. Sam may come across as gruff if you invade the mountain but it is because she is so fiercely protective. She cares. She doesn't want anyone getting hurt.]]

"Whose to say it's not a little bit of both...?" The words came simple enough, not heavy with implication. Just fact. She had wondered when she would run into someone, let alone one she deemed as familiar. Either way, this little encounter might just save both of their lives. The snow fell around them, painting a picture that would have been beautiful if not for their current situation. It was sad, really. Maybe one day the mountainside would be peaceful again.

"Or maybe you have a bad habit of running into trouble so I need to be around to make sure you don't end up swallowed by this place or what lurks in it." The faintest traces of humor laced her tone, eyes trained well enough to already be scanning for any signs of weakness or injury.
