so the 2 beatles songs, "I Saw Her Standing There" and "She's Leaving Home" were both written about the same girl, iris caldwell. she was george harrison's first girlfriend, but after they broke up, she dated paul mccartney (who wrote said songs). she became a trapezist. her brother, alan caldwell, who went by the stage name rory storm, had a band called rory storm and the hurricanes. the drummer of the band, richard starkey, who went by stage name ringo starr, would later become a member of the beatles after stu sutcliffe left and pete best was officially kicked out.

unrelated, but the beatles are also linked to fleetwood mac. george harrison's first wife, pattie boyd, has a sister named jenny boyd, who was married to mick fleetwood twice. also, george was in a band (traveling wilburys, of course) with tom petty, and petty would later partner up with stevie nicks in the 80s to sing. not only that, but john lennon also mentioned enjoying fleetwood mac's music, especially the lead singer.
