[11:54am] bestfriend!jisung giggles when you stick your finger in his birthday cake’s frosting and smudge it on his cheek. “happy birthday, kid,” you say with a grin.
“you’re younger than me!” he laughs, taking it and smudging it on your cheek as well.
“only by a few months…” you pout. “anyways, i have so many fun things planned today!!!” you exclaim, grabbing both his hands in yours. you pretend you don’t notice the blush on his face when you do so.
“i can’t wait,” he gives you a small yet extremely sincere smile, like he’s afraid if he smiles to big you’ll be able to read him like an open book. you stare back at him and squeeze his hands again as if to say you can tell me anything.
“me neither,” you say and you smile brightly at him, and he does the same. “you’re seventeen now jisung, you’ve got the world at your feet. i mean hell, you’re almost a grown man!”
“god,” jisung shakes his hands out of yours and pouts. “don’t even say that.”
“but it’s true… we’re growing up, it’s time to start doing things we’d never do before, before we all grow up and it’s too late.”
he’s staring at you again and the look in his eyes is so unreadable you feel almost intimidated. “jisu-” you were cut off my a pair of super soft lips hitting yours, and you could swear you felt your head spin. his hand reaches up to rest on your cheek and you smile into the kiss, grabbing his wrist. his lips are moving in such a slow, passionate way you thought your heart was going to burst out of your chest. soon enough he’s pulling away.
“things like that?” he breathes out.
“yeah. things like that,” you say. “happy birthday jisung,” you whisper, and you swoop in to kiss him again.
