Peyton, daughter of brittanynwilliams, is just 18 days younger than my daughter and I have loved watching them grow together, hitting all the milestones at almost exactly the same time. Birthday videos are so fun to make because I love seeing all the home videos and really learning about who that child is. Videos tell a story that photos cannot. Enjoy reliving Peyton's 1st year - as you can see as she reached the 1 year mark she really got her dance moves down!

Filmed a small and intimate ceremony tonight. They had a ceremony with just them at the church and then had a renewal ceremony with their family at a friend's house. The bride, Lis was gorgeous, the space was beautiful, everything was very nice. And I took my very first "selfie with the bride." Ha! Side story: a lot of times I feel very anxious and worried about business stuff. "Be still and know that I am God" keeps coming to me and bringing me peace. And when I walked into the church and saw this sign above the door I loved it. What a great reminder. :)

A few months ago, Kimberly contacted me about making a video for her husband full of home videos and pictures of him and their son, Tyler. I haven't seen Kimberly since we worked together at Orientation in 2007 at SUNY Cortland. So I've never met her husband or her baby. But I was in for a treat when she sent me all the videos and pictures.

You can immediately tell how much Kim's husband, Matt, loves being a father. Just look at Matt's face during the clip when him and Tyler are playing ball with their dog. Matt's smile is so contagious and you can see the true joy.

And Tyler just steals the show. I love his laughter over a water bottle and how much joy he gets from a little breeze in his face.

What a gift it was to look into the life of a great father-son bond in the making. Happy FIRST Father's Day Matt. Enjoy that cutie every single day!
