this is brandon bernard.

in 1999, when he was 18, he was sentenced to death for the killing of two prime youth ministers. according to the u.s. sun, “bernard was convicted with four others over the killing of couple todd and stacie bagley in killen, texas, in 1999. he was only 18 years old at the time of the crime and did not have a leading role in it, attorneys say.” he was an accomplice and he did not murder anybody, and has been on death row for 21 years. let me clarify for you:

yes, he was a part of the crime, but he did not commit the murders themselves. he was merely an accomplice, and he didn’t kill anybody.

brandon has shown exemplary behavior while in prison. he has taken responsibility for his actions and has accepted that he will never be free from prison. five of the nine jurors who put him on death row now believe that death is a too extreme punishment and he should be free from death. these jurors do not believe he should be released from prison, but merely taken off of death row and able to live out the rest of his life in prison.

HE IS SET TO BE EXECUTED ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 10TH. WHAT WE ARE ASKING IS FOR THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION TO TAKE HIM OFF OF DEATH ROW SO HE IS ABLE TO LIVE PEACEFULLY IN PRISON AND DIE PEACEFULLY, AND NOT BY FORCE. HE ONLY HAS LESS THAN 48 HOURS.
