Sit Stand Walk Stretch for better health during the day.
If you went to the Gym this morning or are planning a run after work - do you think you are doing enough to keep healthy?  Because if you are sitting for most of your work day – you are negating all that good effort.
We are becoming a nation of sitters and it is slowly killing us.
An office worker will sit for approximately 80,000 hours during their lifetime – put that into perspective just get in your car and drive around Australia 320 times.  Feeling a little tired and stiff at that thought?  It’s ironic – we are encouraged to move and stretch during airflights, and to stop the car for a break on long drives but we don’t encourage staff to get up and move about during the day.  And yet studies have shown that the benefits of having an office that moves more includes greater productivity and focus, more energy, and improves general employee wellbeing.
Move More Sit Less gives us the nudge to start incorporating more movement into daily life for a better quality of life.
