Ā "No not really, I just need something to keep me entertained." He smiledĀ
"Dylan!" Sophelia exclaimed happily as she playfully hopped into his arms bridal style. "Entertainment is sort of what this place is going for, you know, Pickles."
Walking by the coffee place, she picked up a coffee for herself and Sophie, knowing Sophie would be working late tonight. Opening the door of the movie store she made way towards the backroom seeing the redhead she smiled āNah, I just came to drop this off for you.āĀ
"Ooooh." Sophielia hummed as she nursed the warmth of the coffee between her hands. "You are beautiful." She could have been talking to either the caffeine or her best friend. "You're my goddamn hero, Tess." Musing as she draped an arm around the brunette and embraced her loosely. "Come to mourn the fact that I'm working all night while you're probably going to go out and charm your way into someone's heart?"
The redhead walked from the backroom of the video store, peeking out first before she found her familiar smile warmly spread across her features. "Oh, hey. Looking for something in particular?" She sing-song'd.
Ā "Who needs a giant pizza slice when you can just devour an actual pizza?"
"Iām not going to lie when I say Iād actually like one of those for myself, actually.."
"That is actually a legitimate argument, I'll give you that. Oh, this not so little guy? We sell 'em at the video store, actually."
Ā "I bet heās a better cuddle-buddy than most boys here in Woodsboro,"
"Iām almost positive heād be a better date to the meteor shower too,"
"I think he just may end up being my date knowing my luck."
Ā "That does seem much better than some relationships I have had."Ā
"Well, it's good to know I have something in common with a rockstar even if it's something that happens to suck."
"Hey, this is very serious." Stifling a giggle of her own.
"Who needs a relationship when I can just cuddle this... giant pizza slice?"
Ā Looking at the girl with a slight daze to him, he popped another pain pill into his mouth with a sort of tradition. āHey Soph. How uh.. How are you?ā
Sophie hadn't seen Lennon since -- well -- things got really bad and touched them both. Noting the pill he popped into his mouth reminding her of her own medications she was strictly on. "Hey, Len. How're you holding up?" Sure, they may not have been fond of each other but things had changed - for the better, she didn't know.
"Oh -- uhm -- hey." The words tumbling unceremoniously from her lips.
Ā "Just trying to see that beautiful smile, darlinā. That aināt a crime, right?" A crooked smile appeared on his lips. "It figures youād have such a beautiful name. Most pretty girls do." He took her hand and lifted it up to his face while pressing his lips against it. "Iām Aiden Matthews. Itās a pleasure to make your acquaintance, angel." He said in his charming tone before releasing the girlās hand.
Sophie wished she could have found him to be corny as though he had escaped from one of those ridiculous chick flick films she despised so much but she actually found something charming about him which inspired her bright smile again. Watching as he kissed the back of her hand and she blinked in surprise, things like that just didn't happen anymore. "Oh, well - uhm - I'm sorry for being such a clutz and crashing into you." Another faint giggle.
Ā "Oh, my bad." Aiden looked her up and down before biting down on his lower lip. "Today must be my lucky day. Who knew Iād bump into such a beautiful girl." A charming smile crept along his lips. "Whatās your name gorgeous?"Ā
A light giggle escaped from the redhead as she listened to his words. "Wow, does that usually work for you?" Humming a bit softly as she kept her smile and tilted her head softly. "My name's Sophelia, most people just call me Sophie. Yours?"
Walking out of her house into the setting afternoon sun the petite horror fanatic exhaled what could be constituted as a sigh or a breath of relief. Just as she was rounding a corner she found herself colliding with something or rather someone. "Oh - omphf! - sorry!"
Ā Henry nodded, letting out a breathe of air from between his lips. Woodsboro was quite the scene, despite being a bit older in fashion. Since heād arrived most of the citizens had been rather kind, it was a load off his back to say the least. Henry ordered a black coffee before settling into his conversation with Sophelia, āIām actually here to learn more about my family history,ā he explained.
"Oh yeah? Is your family from here?" Sophie always had an interest in others, she was fascinated by people and their individual natures that made them different. Henry was handsome, that was a given but there was something else beyond that she couldn't quite place, something that drew her in and made her want to know more about him.
Ā At first, Henry tilted his head in confusion, āWarnings? Oh wait, you mean the murders?ā he asked. Of course Henry knew about Ghostface coming back, itās one of the first things that pop up if you google, āBilly Loomis,ā. He just never knew the town was in such an uproar but of course theyād be, thereās a serial killer in Woodsboro. He sighed at his own ignorance before continuing the conversation. "Sophelia is pretty," Henry tried to smile again, "Yeah, I arrived yesterday night," he explained. Henry watched her brush books from her table, taking note that they were actual novels instead of teen gossip magazines, āIāll keep you company if you donāt mind, but I canāt let you pay,ā he said, slowly pulling out the chair across from the girl.
"Yeah, the murders." Sophie mentioned in mournful passing. "I mean, Woodsboro's always had a bad reputation despite how beautiful it is here but right now isn't exactly the best time, you know?" The waitress came by to take his order if he had one while Sophie kept her smile. "So, what brings you to town?"

Henry turned his head slightly, looking for the face of the voice that guided him towards the library. He locked eyes with a blonde, āThank-you miss, itās nice to meet friendly faces,ā. Henry did his best to offer up a smile, āIām Henry,ā he added.
"There are a few sprinkled around this town but with everything that's going on it's hard to find someone outside let alone who isn't scared and blurting out warnings." A smile of her own gracing her features. "I'm Sophelia or just Sophie, a lot less to say. Did you just move here?" Glancing around at the assortment of Edgar Allan Poe books all over the table she scooped some out of the way and smiled again. "Would you like to join me or are you in a rush to get to the library?" Things had been a bit lonely, she could use the company and the distraction from her own thoughts. "Coffee on me?" She offered sweetly.
