The Blackswan Guide is finally here! It took MUCH longer than anticipated (have I mentioned that it's nearly two hours long?). If you want to learn about the group and have almost two hours to spare, then I have the video for you.
I have also included a music playlist and English-subtitled video playlist in the description. Enjoy 🤗

Someone tell me how my Blackswan Guide video is already over an hour long when I have one more member to go?
I watched the AppleTV+ K-pop idols documentary for Blackswan, but since I've posted about Jessi and Jay on this blog before I'll add this. The documentary came at such an odd time in Jessi's career and didn't elaborate on much.
It starts with her on her own tour without a label, after leaving P Nation. It ends with her signing to More Vision. By the time it aired, she had already left More Vision too. I don't even remember text on the screen at the end about why or anything like that.
She mentions wanting to leave P Nation for Psy's musical style influencing her singles and how it's very trendy, high-energy songs mostly...but then she released "Gum" at More Vision. It's the same kind of tiktok-dance-trend-hunting track like at P Nation.
She mentions wanting to do more R&B to Jay, but even after leaving the label she hasn't done that. It's odd. I feel like whatever happened the year after they stopped filming could have been a much more interesting time to document.
P.S. Sorry to Cravity fans, but all of their segments were the same paint-by-the-numbers scenes you see in every K-pop documentary. Aside from that one manager been too honest once, there was practically nothing of note.
So, I'm still working on the Blackswan guide video. I knew that AppleTV+ would have a K-pop documentary starring them at the end of August. But, the shade for Leia in just the first episode alone is something.
The director flat-out like "Frankly, her vocal and dance was not good." Leia interjecting her own interview like "...dramatic..." and ending one portion with her saying "I just-I'm kind of crazy."
Also LOL at Jessi's mom saying "one thing about Jessi she really had a loud voice since she was a child. I would think 'why is she so loud?' and I would plug my ears" and there just being a montage of Jessi as a child screaming.
I'm thinking of making my next Youtube video a Helpful Guide to Blackswan
I started the first draft and have about 1000 words before I even get to the members because there's so much background mess to even reach this line-up.😂
Reblogging myself because I’m almost finished with the first draft of the script.
But, I can’t find this Spotv Entertainment video anymore. The one this clip is from. The original link is private now. If anyone has a link to a re-upload let me know.
