Savior ;
In ages past, Set had been heralded a hero. He was the protector of lands, the god who watched over the Southern part of Egypt. He didn't strike fear, and instead he was praised and prayed to by the masses to save them from droughts and wars. And he was satisfied in doing so, as the people proved loyal to him time and again and gave him many offerings of gold and sacrifice. But of course, it wasn't to last. One day upon entering one of his shrines, he found it desecrated, found his previous offerings taken back, and words of needing saved from Seth wrung out. He'd heard the whispers, of course, a few here and there about him being a war-monger and seeking to destroy them all when he got the chance. Confusion and irritation swept him, but he paid no mind until many of his faithful servants and priests left him as well. Suddenly, things were turned and twisted and he was no longer a savior, no longer a god to be worshipped but one to be feared and one to pray against. He was shunned by the masses, suddenly his chaos that had once means protection suddenly meant that he would destroy all of Egypt if he was given a chance. The storms which once saved them from their thirst were now out to tear down their homes and rip them apart. For a while, Set tried to simply lay low, thinking that it would all pass over and that his devoted worshippers would return. But he was wrong, he was cast aside and suddenly he was being written into history as a god of evil; a far cry from the fierce protector he'd once been. And it angered him, he hated that with some whispers he had been turned into a figure of loathing. So he vowed to make them pay. Their words twisted in him like a knife, so he decided to show them what true terror and fear of him would look like. Storms were summoned; massive windstorms came and blew down houses and temples, rains came and flooded their villages. He went to their places of worship and spun their minds into insanity, he set fire to their businesses and slit the throats of the innocent. They would all be sorry for what they had done to him. He would show them the true face of evil.
