Dogs Out Of The Bag | Antosey

After being back in Verona for a week, slipping back into a routine had come with ease. Business was starting to pick back up with the holiday season beginning to kick in, especially with the rebranding of Parties by Val becoming Parties by Posey, the re-arrival of some old faces, and with her relationship having been taken up another notch after breaking the news to her parents during her time away.
Anton’s apartment had also become more homely, and lived in with more of her items scattered around, the addition of a cat tower and the kitchen fully functional, and as much as she denies it? It’s becoming home, especially on the nights neither of them have to work late.Â
Still caught up in her own thoughts, she rinses off the final plate from dinner before stacking the dishwasher and turning it on, listening to the gentle whir as the machine kicks into gear before washing her hands and making her way to the sofa, where Anton’s absorbed in.. Well she’s not entirely sure what he’s absorbed in, but she moves to her knees easily, her cheek resting against his thigh to get his attention as well as centre herself and their respective roles before asking quietly as his gaze flicks over at her. “Euro for your thoughts Master?”

Anton had settled himself on his couch, laptop open as he read through his business finances. It was the most he could do nowadays to distract himself from the continued frustration over Oz’s ruling. As usual, diving straight into work was his usual way of dealing with things. But lately, he had Posey by his side to keep his head level. He was growing increasingly more surprised each day at how much she impacted his daily routine.
A moment passed from his work and he found his mind wandering a little to a linger thought he had had for a while. At the sound of Posey’s voice, however, he snapped back to reality and turned with a small smile to the submissive. “Hm?  I was just thinking about…,” his voice trailed.  Maybe he needed to stop thinking about it and just follow through. “How would you like to come with me to pick out a dog?  I don’t expect you to care for it, but I imagine you would be around it often enough if I decide to adopt one.”
