Think it would be neat if Blue had the vitals pad on them, like scientists do in game. It could make for some great angst purposes with blue being the first one to know the second someone dies. Even before the body is discovered they know something is wrong because Blue is out of medbay with a stretcher looking stressed and they just KNOW that means something bad
Imagine someone borrowing the pad too, and seeing the time Blues vitals go offline 👁️
I find it infinitely funny that the scary ceo of mira is not only pink, but a "long" crewmate from that one april fools update.

neopronouns are all well and good but as long as we're adding words to the english language there's much cooler things we could add too. lets add inclusive and exclusive "we." a variant of "we" that distinguishes between "we (including listener)" and "we (including the speaker but not the listener)". other languages have this. Let's add the obviative case to our third-person pronouns so that we can distinguish between two people of the same gender - a him-[salient] and a him-[less salient]. this would make it much easier to write sex scenes where two people use the same pronouns. why aren't our proud pronoun warriors working on this

So I've been learning French for a while and 'faire' is actually an incredible word. Like what a fucking breakthrough in economy of language.
Faire is a verb that is usually translated into English as "to do/to make," but it covers way more actions than that, which is very confusing for new speakers. because (I have realized) that's not really what faire means.
Faire is actually a word that just gestures vaguely in the direction of the object of the sentence and goes "you know." "Je fais du velo." "Je fais du courses." "Je fais mes valises." I'm biking. I go grocery shopping. I'm packing my bags. You're just sort of pointing at a bike and going "you know, the obvious thing you'd do with it."
English: "You mean RIDE it??"
French: "Sure whatever."
Like idk I just really enjoy the concept of a catch-all verb that you can just slap onto almost anything because who fucking gives a shit, you get the idea. There's a bike. what do you think I'm going to do with it.
yeah man that verb does everything! you could even call it. you could call it a r. a renn. you could call it a renais -- a renaissance f --
