Hello there!

I'm Lunarduo, your local crazy person! I'm mostly interested in Sonic, Transformers, writing fanfiction, and going insane over the implications of random song lyrics. While my blog is mainly Sonic themed, you will find me posting Transformers stuff every now and then. Real quick, lemme tell you a little bit more about myself:

My favorite Sonic characters are Espio, Caliburn and Orbot! Omega, Tribot and Emerl are pretty close behind, though.

As for favorite Transformers characters... *Glances at my crush on tfa Shockwave* No competition.

You physically cannot trick me with a Sonic lyric, I WILL know where it comes from unless you start quoting the Sonic Shuffle or the Sonic CD levels.

Anyways, my main AU here is Off On Norcinu, a massive Sonic/Transformers crossover au with a convoluted plot. I'll be posting art, mini comics and loredumps on its designated tag, so keep watch for that!

Brain thought: Protagonist is also the antagonist. And not a Megamind situation where everyone just knows right off the bat, no. This proantag is a liar. A freakishly good liar, in fact. It's to the point where everyone is genuinely convinced they're a hero and not the scariest villain their world has ever seen. This guy is integrated into a group of heroes seamlessly, puppeteering their master plan behind the scenes. They don't feel anything for these "friends" of theirs.

Then the real hero comes along. At first, nothing happens. The hero is a little dumb, clumsy. Doesn't really understand their role. This is who was prophesized to defeat the villain? Seems odd. But then, the unthinkable happens. The villain starts to like the hero. They thought they were incapable of feeling anything, but one little crack opened up for this doofus and suddenly a whole well of emotions they didn't know existed breaks through. They feel something. They start to actually care about this group of friends they've integrated themself into. This is when the mask starts to falter, leading on their friends.

The proantag is too far into their plan to stop, however. Right at the climax, they finally reveal themselves fully. But... that look of betrayal on the hero's face does it. Causes the hesitation that leads to them losing the fight. The villain is left alive, not because of any morals, but because their friends truly care about them. They want the proantag to be better. The hero wants them to be ok. And that's what keeps the protag together.

The hero beat the villain, not because they were capable. But because they got the villain to care.

(Of course, rehabilitation isn't easy... the protag is still a chronic liar and it's hard to figure out the truths, but they're healing. The hero couldn't be happier.)

Unless there's HRT for human-to-eldritch-monstrocity transitioning that I'm not aware of, I think the closest I can get is a full-body tattoo that makes me look like I have no skin.

Anybody else remember that one g1 episode where Preceptor essentially got turned into human Windblade? That sure was an episode

Y'know, I have a suspicion that a lot of people forget that Transformers are essentially living vehicles... their alt-modes tend to be very underutilized when it comes to behavior. What, besides transportation, would be easier in their alt-mode? Why not have them just casually hang out as vehicles? Why not let them paw at the ground with their tires in anger, roll back and forth in excitement, and accidentally honk in shock? Why not draw a couple of cars nuzzing each other? Or one guy in root mode having another in car mode just hang out in their lap?

Soundwave's sullen voice spoke lowly into the intercom:

"Megatron is dead. The Prime is gone. The war is over, and everyone has lost."

Basically: The Autobots and Decepticons have a final battle on the Arc as it's plummeting towards Earth, and most of the cybertronians on board die, including but not limited to:

Megatron

Bumblebee

Nearly all of Soundwave's cassettes barring Rumble and Frenzy (Although Frenzy is badly injured and put into a coma)

When they crash, the battle ends and the crew assess the damage. Optimus completely breaks at Bumblebee's death, and goes outside to rip the Matrix out of his chest, throw it on the ground, and scream at it for a good while. After that, he falls to the ground, crying. (This is the first thing the humans see of the transformers btw) His frame becomes a lot smaller because of ripping the matrix out.

Meanwhile, Soundwave has stepped in as the "temp" leader (it is not temporary) and gets things in order somewhat, starting with getting the injured to Ratchet to attempt to save. He then realizes that they have a bot missing, goes outside, and finds Optimus absolutely spiraling into depression and the matrix just sitting on the ground. Gathering the big(ish) guy inside, Soundwave can barely get an answer out out of him, but one thing is certain: Opti doesn't want to fight anymore. So, Soundy decides to take it upon himself to send a message to all cybertronians: The war is over. Everyone lost.

After that, it's a bunch of Soundwave keeping both Optimus and himself sane with the help of the rest of the crew and the town of humans they landed near. At one point they gather all the corpses and give them one last sendoff as a sort of letting go.

Quick question to the entire tf fanbase: Are there any complete Headmasters fandubs? Briefly looking on youtube, it seems that a lot of them only have 10-20 of the 35 episodes, and I would like to watch through the show with one set of voices (Immersion breaks otherwise).

A dynamic I wish they explored more is Perceptor and Ultra Magnus... In the original movie I loved how Magnus did NOT understand whatever the heck Perceptor was saying, like, at all. First he asked for a translation, then he looked a lil impatient with the rambling. What a duo.
