There they are .. and they are so much more aligned than she originally thought. Bella tilts her head at the little snowmen, tailing behind them with a pensiveness. They’re so tiny … and so alike. She can’t help but study them from behind ; their details and their little shoes, ears twitching to perk for any further sound they make.
—- And upon entering the chilling chamber, realization hits. Even to a half-breed vampire, this chill is enough to make her eyes shrink and hands draw up to her arms, instinctively rubbing at them for warmth! Even though she’s bundled up beneath the cloak she previously put a warming spell on, this cold is .. well, it’s in its element. Any magic she had cast was not going to be up to par with Snowmiser’s, so there’s still a chill nipping at the tips of her pointed ears and her little pale nose that immediately begins to turn red.
Momentarily, she fell behind as the mini-misers went on, huddling into herself and succumbing to a momentary embarrassment. But! From the satchel hanging at her side, she does retrieve a very small fire opal ring and slides it on … and immediately finds some relief. She shakes her head and shoulders a little, muttering apologies to the mini-misers before following them along in tow! And she just.. looks around the palace ; curiosity flourishing right into childlike wonderment sparking as little stars in half-lidded eyes now widening to full width.
It’s so pretty. When ice is in a collective like this, it really emits its subtle, gorgeous color of blue and white .. the icicles hanging from above! And — machines?
Her ears lower. Now, what are those? There’s such a collective ..
“Is that a visitor I hear?”
And her ears perk again, standing straight like antennas the moment she notices Snowmiser.
Her hair fluffs … !
Her crystal beams a bright, icy green .. !
A reaction that only those lovable Holiday legends can inspire. Her chest momentarily puffs with a held breath, and her heart starts skipping a quicker beat.
Bella meekishly sinks into her cloak, burying beneath her hood.
“.. it’s an honor to meet you. are you really snowmiser? I mean, of course you are, I — ugh, I’m sorry.” Sinking further. “I can’t .. seem to formulate myself … I’m so sorry .. It’s just so amazing to meet you —”
not at all answering his questions, but it’s mowing over into a fan gush. A timid one, but none the less! Give her juuuuuust a moment to reboot.
....Oh! Isn’t that adorable? It’s been quite awhile since someone was so excited to meet him. How good it is to have a mortal-wait.... No.
This one isn’t a mortal....
The Snowmiser watches Isabella in silence for a moment, trying to assess and identify. Frankly he isn’t too involved in these sort of matters. His interest is in the cold, the ice, the snow, the weather.. He doesn’t always pay much attention to all the various residents of the planet, so he can’t always identify everyone flawlessly... He can now see she has the markings of a vampire, but.... Something is different. He did for a moment think she was human....
Ah, well. Not his concern. Point is, it is simply adorable to have someone who seems to admire and respect him! It doesn’t happen often, especially among human beings. Those humans so easily forget how important and necessary he is.
“Aren’t you cute, you little sweetheart. What’s your name? Can you tell the old Snowmiser your name?”
He also wonders why she’s here. Many people only come visit him looking for some kind of favor, but he doesn’t see that glint of demand in her eyes those type of visitors often carry.
